2. Manipal takes in a lower number of students than VIT and thus there is more prospect of individual attention.

3. The fee is Manipal is way Higher than VIT (category I) so it also comes down to the question of how much one can afford.

4. VIT and Manipal perform equally good in terms of campus placements and foreign opportunities.

5. Manipal offers you more space for growth as the rules are relaxed whereas it's extremely strict in VIT.

VIT admission happens in phases and phase 1 is for the people who have score the top 20k rank. The people who appear for counselling in this phase are given more preference and have a higher possibility of getting their branch of interest in the campus. The fees also keep increasing as you go from phase 1 to phase 2 and so on. So, this is a system to give seats to meritorious students in VITEEE.

YES, you can get Integrated M.tech in Software Engineering course in VIT vellore with 94.8 percentage score in PCM. The Requirement for getting admission in Integrated M.tech course in VIT Vellore is more than 90%  in Aggregate PCM subjects. So, according to this, you will get Integrated M.tech admission in VIT Vellore.

Further. the eligibility criteria for M.tech admission in VIT Vellore is as follows : The requirement for M. Tech is candidates must score a minimum of 60% marks in BCA/ BSC (IT) with Mathematics as a course studied in Class 12th or at graduation level. They must have the BE/ B. VIT does not release official cutoffs every year and thus we can't say a lot of things for sure but the previous year trends suggest that it is slightly hard for you to get CSE in VIT Vellore or Chennai. Usually the cutoff closes at around 7-8k but sometimes has reached till 15k. You can try getting in via management quota or you have a good chance of getting VIT Bhopal / Amaravati.

As your rank in VIT is not that good i would say not to opt for it. However you can get cse specialisations in category 3 and there is a good chance to change your branch in 2nd year.

I would suggest you to go for comedk colleges as you have a good rank there and can take up cse branch there even if you don't get in the top 5 colleges because the cost in course four years of B.tech is less in the Bangalore colleges rather than VIT Vellore and SRM University.

VIT Amravati University does not offer aerospace engineering course to the students. The university offers Computer science engineering, electronics and communication engineering and mechanical engineering. VIT Chennai also does not offer Bachelor of technology in aerospace engineering.
