These branches usually close between ranks 2500 to 8000, especially for general category students. If you belong to a reserved category, your chances slightly improve, but still remain low for these top branches.

Since you missed first counselling and applied for the second, make sure to fill web options carefully this time. Include backup branches like IT, EEE, mechanical, or civil, which have higher closing ranks and more availability. You should also include colleges that are slightly lower in demand, where your rank fits better.

With the rank of 56700 in VIT entrance exam your admission is possible but not guaranteed as the CS branch is very competitive and considering that there are over 2.5 lakhs students appeared this year it is tough to say. But most probably you should get the admission and if not kindly try for other universities.
