TNEA cut off is out of 200 marks. Marks scored in Mathematics out of 100 marks and marks scored in Physics+Chemistry out of 100 marks will be considered to calculate the cut off. A common merit list is prepared after the marks are normalized in relevant subjects of different boards.

Yes you can get a seat in Anna University, as the cut-off of the university for B-tech course in Food Technology is 50%.

according to your marks mentioned in the question your PCM percentage would be 52.6 which i think is bit low to get computer science branch as the cutoff of the computer science engineering goes high every year , however for your help here i am listing colleges offering computer science engineering

As both the universities are great in terms of their education, faculty and placements, both are similar but i think ANNA university is better than SASTRA in terms of core companies that come for recruitment at Sastra university.

The Lowest cutoff for the university goes to 72%. If your aggregate marks is above 72% then you may expect to get admission, but you may not be able to choose your branch your preferred Branch.

I hope you fine.first of all congratulations dear. you got seat in anna university.but it little bit difficult.and you didn't get core branches like CSE,ECE etc.defintly you got other branches like chemical engineering,bio- medical engineering, Marianne engineering etc.once you have to check C utoff.all the best for your councellings.try your level best.i hope you got free seat in anna university.
