Students should know about calculating cut - off marks . The total marks for every subject is 200. First, take your mathematics mark , divide it by 2, then you will get the marks for 100. Marks of physics and chemistry should be divided by 4, then you would get marks for 50 for each subject.

Once you made saved the registration details in https://www.tneaonline.org/user/register login page you cannot change any details in that page. And incorrect details of a candidate might lead to cancellation of candidature. You may have to register once again with new email ID and phone number.

In anna university counselling application, in place of HSC Equivalent registration number, you are supposed to fill your HSC/12th Board roll number/ registration number. If you check your marksheet or just the result page on the website, you will see your registration number there. You are supposed to fill that number only.

Right now the cutoff marks will be published on the official website.From the previous year cutoff of 175.5 you have chance to get Industrial Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering in Anna university.

But this year there is an possibility for different cut off so, apply for counselling too

To get direct admission in Anna university is little difficult with your cutoff. There will be a lot of competition and state board students will have a cut off of 195 and above. But you can definitely try for Anna university counselling and there is a lot chance for you to get into tier 1, 2 and 3 colleges which are also Anna University affiliated. And some colleges like SSN do offer management seats for CBSE students which is a great advantage for CBSE students. You  might get into top colleges. For giving accurate information I need your catagory and results need to declared for exact outcomes. The cutoff will be reduced since the question paper was tough and syllabus was new. So you have a good cutoff score to get into a good college.

I'm not clear with your question. Always the seats are reserved in the government counceling based on their community. Through the management quota the colleges has their own seats which are reserved for community. It is based on your college. Each college will be having their own community. They will be allocating particular number of seats for those student.

1) In TNEA counselling the seats are first filled in the open category, There are chances that the candidates might have got the seat allocated in general category. Also the the total allocation for SCA category is around 3% of the total colleges under anna university.

2) The cutoff rank for ST is lower compared to other categories, the candidate would have opted for other courses (preferably a circuit branch) since the courses you have mentioned required lower cutoff ranks even for the open category.

The common fact is that the rate of engineering admissions have decreased in 2019 compared to the previous years, this can be even one of the reasons the seats weren't filled.

It is hardly possible for you to get into annauniversity main campus since you fall under general catogory you need to take minimum of 195 cutoff so that you can try to do cse in annauniversity. You can get into affiliated colleges. You can apply for counseling and enter into affliated colleges of annauniversity .In affiliated colleges, there are many colleges with top rank and good records.
