Good college , it has ample space to roam around , mess food is also good compared to other colleges I guess. Hostel rooms are just fine. Cleaning takes place though. Yes the college has necessary infrastructure facilities and equipment. Infact it is one of the first college in india to have super computer. It's the first college to have space and rocketry department. The college is huge with class blocks placed far from each other. There are many eateries too .
Academic wise the college is just fine. Once upon a time it used to be an elite college, but now it has lost its prestige. Nevertheless its still one of the best colleges in india. The faculties are helpful . Dare not to challenge a faculty.
Placement is good. Many top companies come for recruitment. Infact companies like Microsoft, TCS , Infosys, Amdocs, Tata just to name a few. Highest salary can go upto 40 lacs. Average salary can be 6-7 lacs
Yes and no. The reason is college fees are high compared to content provided. But there are certain facilities which prove to be a game changer and hence are value for money. Now it totally depends on students perspective what they consider about college.
The college campus is huge. 780 acres most of which is covered with huge trees, eateries are there, sports complex is great, several events take place thoughout the year and hence there is lot of peer interaction and fun
My college have all the advance infrastructure, facilities and equipments for educational purposes. All the classrooms are very advanced haveing best facilities for teaching with good wifi systems. All the living places are clean and hygienic.
I am studying btech in chemical engineering and the quality of teaching is very good and fine. The curriculum of my course is always up to date and includes all the recent developments in the particular field.
The quality of placement is very good in my college. The percentage of the students who are placed are also very high around more than 90%. I don't have any idea about highest or average salary package but I can say that all are very good.
My course fee is around 3 lakhs per year. And I strongly feel that the course money is very much worth because the college is providing a lots of facilities including educational, sports and other things.
Campus life is very awesome. First of all the whole campus is very beautiful and there are a lots of tress which makes the campus attractive. It is a closed campus thus safe also and there is a lots of facilities in case of emergencies.
No, my college doesn't have all the necessary infrastructure. There are only 2 buildings available for students. The facilities are not so good as expected. There are smart classes available in maximum classes which is quite good thing.
I am studying BCA in this college in the batch 2018-2021. I am studying BCA because I am interested in coding. The professors are quite helpful to the students in case of any doubts being produced and exams are also taken in regular basis.
The quality of placements is quite good in this college. Total of 40-50 % of students are placed for this course. The highest salary package offered in about 6 lakhs per annum and it had gone to MCA student.
My course BCA costs about 1 lakh 30 thousands per year. Yes I feel I am getting my money's worth in this college. Because the professors are really very good teachers, they clear my every doubt in my subject.
My college campus is not so worthy because there is no coed class nd no time for lunch..Separate classroom are being provided to both girls nd boys which doesn't help eachother to be flawless with each other
Overall its a nice college and one can really take admission to gain knowledge in computer filed and boost their own career
THE INFRASTURCTURE IS QUITE GOOD THE COLLEGE AND LASS ROOMS HAVE SC AND GOOD CHAIRS AND ROOMS . THE HOSTEL ALTHOUGH IS NOT QUITE GOOD IN FIRST YEAR AS THE ROOM THAT IS SHARED BETWEEN TWO PEOPLE ARE EXREMELY SMALL . BUT OVERALL THE STUDY ENVIRONAMENT FACILITY IS GOOD.
I AM STUDYING PRODUCTION ENGINEERING AS I WANT TO BE AN AUTOMOBILE ENGINEER AND THE CURICU;UM TAUGHT HERE IS OKAY AND GOOD. AND WITH NEW CBCS SYSTEM ONE CAN CHOOSE A COURSE OUTSIDE HIS BRANCH FROM ANY OTHER BRACHNHE WANT TO STUDY .
PLACEMENT ARE EXCELLENT GOOD IT AND AUTOMOBILE COMPANIES VISIT HERE GIVVING GOOD PACKAGE. TO SIT IN A PLACEMENT OF IT COMPANY YOU MIGHT NOT BE NECESARILY BE FROM CSE OR IT EVEN AN MRCH GUY WITH APPROPRIATE KNOWLEDGE AND INTREST MAY TAKE PART IN THE PLACEMENT.
THOUGH IT IS SEMI GOVT BUT PRICE IS QUITE HIGH AS COMPARED TO NITS . THE TOTAL AMOUNT EXCLUDING MESS FEEE IN 4 YEARS IN 11.5 LACS AND INCLUDING MESS THAT IS 8 X 20K IS 1.6 LAKS TAKE THE OVERALL EXPENDITURE TO AROUND 13LAKS
CAMPUS LIFE IS MODERATE AS THERE ARE PLACES OF GATHERING BUT NOT A ORGANISED ONE . THE STANDARDS OF CANTEENS ARE ALSO NIT QUITE HIGH . A PROPER FOOD COURT IS NOT THEIR AND THE INTERACTIONS BETWEEN GIRLS AND BOYS IS LESS AS THEIR IS RESTRICTION ON BOYS TO ENTER NEAR GIRLS HOSTELS.
OVERALL IT OKAYY AND GOOD AS SENIORS ARE VERY COPERATIVE AND CLUBS SUCH AS ACM , IEEE AND IET ORAGNISES FREQUENT WORKSHOPS FOR THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE JUNIORS .SORTS AND EXTRSA CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES ARE HIGHLY APPRECIATED AND PROMOTED BESDIE STUDIES.
It meets the standards of world class infrastructure. It has well equipped labs designed to meet the latest trends. The main building have separate sections for the technical branches and dept. of mathematics, pramaceuticals, chemical engg. and biotechnology have there separate buildings. We have 15 hostels in BIT Mesra out of which 3 are for accomodation of girls and rest by boys. It has a central library with more than one lakh books and research journals. It has a huge G.P.Birla Auditorium .
I'm pursuing Integrated masters In Mathematics and Computing. The faculty is excellent and some of them have 22 years of experience in the field of teaching and research and they are easily approachable. Yes , our college follows the CBCS system and updates its courses on regular basis. They are additional society to help academics parallely and we have the Society for Data Science. Ours is not a technical course thus a lot of inputs have to be given from our side but yes it makes capable us.
They are pretty decent as the college is ranked as one of the best in India. Technical courses have good turnout and also the college plans to set up foreign collaborations which will have international reach. Our alumni and international relations are managed with excellence and thus it goes on to further climb up positions.
My course costs approx. 1 lakhs 30 k p.a. . For a non technical course it's too high but at the same time , we are taugh by one of the best faculties of Jharkhand and in fact, India. We have diverse career options. One can seek for job, or go for research.
Campus life is the best of times one spends here. The campus streches over 780 acres of land. We witness more than hundred of events every month here. It has more than 30 clubs which satisfies the needs and tastes of more than 5k people studying in here. It has a sports complex and a huge auditorium. The ambient and fresh campus is surrounded by trees all over the campus.
College campus is spread over 980 acre and fully WIFI-Enabled,Since the college is in forest the speed is not that good but you can consume upto 3GB per day easily. In our campus there are gym,Labs,Smart Classrooms,Library,Digital Library,Rocket testing site,Running tracks for athletes etc. are available.
Academics are same as other colleges, the same 21-25 year old curriculum is followed till now.Same subjects,Same projects. But if you want to go out of the way then you can visit to professor and ask for help they will help definitely you and provide every necessary thing which you required.Even the seniors are very helpful. But the competition is quit hard as all the students are of same level or higher level from from you.
The Placement is excellent here you can compare the placement of here from any normal NIT as the average package is 9.11 lpa and the highest is approx 40 lpa and the top recruits are Amazon,Microsoft,Uber, ola,Goldman Sash and other top companies. If you are from CSE branch then you don't have to worry about any placement you will definitely get it.
The college is not fully private it's semi government so the fee is not that high to total fee for 4 year B.Tech will be around 10 lack, less than other private colleges. And yes it is value for money as if you are investing 10 lakhs here in 4 year then you are also earning 10 lakhs per year if you study a little bit.
Campus is awesome as you won't get too much assignments, projects like other colleges and the main thing is that from 2nd year onward boys will get their personal room whereas the girls have to share room through out the 4 year.Girls hava to enter the hostel by 8:30 but this is not for boys, boys can visit the whole campus anytime. In the entire 4 year you will get fresh air to breath as the campus is in forest but approx 1.5 km away from NH-33,and 16 km away from Ranchi(Nearest city).
