Hello Satyam,

I think you should go with the iiest shibpur with the CSE branch, As the trends the scope of computer science brance is higher than any other branch, all these scenario happen due to fast moving digital India and you should not worry about the college.

All the best.

Hello Ashutosh!

Go for Dual Degree at IISER if you are interested in Research and have no keen interest in IT industry.

If you are interested in working at some profile in some MNCs and if you are interested in computer programming then go for DTU.

IISER is better for research oriented studies wheras DTU is better for placements in MNC and Industry related studies.

Hope that helps!

Hey,

Frankly speaking IITis IIT, one of the disadvantages of DTU is they do not have much autonomy as the IITs and autonomy plays an important role in how good an institution become.

CSE branch dosent require much infrastructure. If you have a good laptop you can easily compete with other best IIT CSE students.

You must go for IIT Jammu.

You can go through the link given below for more details,

All the best

Hello Ashutosh,
Firstly about IIT Jammu, Many people don't know about IIT Jammu because it is new and some also have misconceptions about Jammu too but Jammu is a quite peaceful city with great peoples. Here in college we have small computer, mechanical and physical lab. Library is also not so big because we are in temporary campus currently.
Now talk about DTU, Delhi, Established in 1941 ,DTU (Formerly Delhi College Of Engineering) is one of oldest Engineering college in the country and hence has a wide and successful alumni base across all possible sectors . The campus of 164 acres that too in the national capital gives you the right space to do all kinds of student activities and is the first thing which attracts students towards DTU .

Hey Himanshu,

Spot Round counseling in JAC Delhi is conducted only when all the rounds have been finished and there are still vacant seats present. In such cases only, a SPOT Round is conducted. So you can have options for colleges and their vacant seat which you have to choose. This round is the last round of JAC. It usually starts from the end of July. Previous year it was on 23 July 2018. But I suggest you not to wait for the last round. If you are aiming to drop one year then go for it. Sometimes luck might favors.

All the best

Choose as per your interest don't take admission only because the placement is good for a particular branch.both the branches and colleges are good.If you are interested in computer then definitely go for IIEST(CSE) .But if you are comparing in both two the cse must be better because it will give you better placements....

Nitesh,

There is common form to get admission in dtu/nsit/iiitd/igdtu.

A certificate issued by NCT delhi will only be gone consider for taking admission if you belong to DELHI region.

One must carry central category certificate issued by NCT delhi for taking advantages of delhi obc quota otherwise one will be consider as OBC outside delhi.

So if you are outside Delhi region then your obc certificate will be accepted by the committee.

Hope it helps.

Shubham,

Last year closing rank (AIR) for DTU was

OUTSIDE DELHI REGION
