NIT Kurukshetra and DTU are both excellent colleges. However, in terms of the student community and exposure, NIT Kurukshetra surpasses DTU. At this percentile you can get only the private colleges seat where you will pay a lot of fees . Better to work hard and get into top government colleges. The qualifying cutoff to be eligible for counselling for General, OBC, and EWS candidates is likely to be much higher than the 55 percentile and that for JEE Advanced eligibility will be much higher. Hence, the 55 percentile is not a good percentile . For SC/ST candidates as well, the 55 percentile is not good.

This is not how improvement works. If you have appeared for 12th say in 2018 and for improvement in 2019 and scored 80% and 78% respectively in 2018 and 2019 then the main result that is, of 2018 will be considered. Improvement does not work the way you wanted. However, if you have applied for a subject-specific improvement then the result with the new score in that particular subject will be your final score.

No, there is no separate exam, the only way to get admitted in DTU is by taking JEE exam. Or you can take lateral entry Admission to B.Tech 2nd year. DTU B.Tech admissions are based on JEE main exam, for DTU UG Admissions, CUET UG exam dates has been released and the application forms are expected to be released in Feb 2024. For DTU PG Admissions, CUET PG exam is scheduled on March 11 and March 28, 2024.
