All admissions for the engineering program at Delhi technological university are done through scores obtained in JEE. You will be though able to apply for it under state quota via your OBC certificate which has 85 percent seats reserved for local candidates. The final admissions will be subjected to a counselling procedure based upon the various criteria set up by institution.

This is a bit difficult to predict the marks/percentile/rank required in JEE mains to get a seat in DTU as cut off  keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like  number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the jee main examination , number of seats available for the branch you want etc.

When we go through previous year trend then ,

In round 9 of jac counselling 2020, for obc category  to get  Mathematics and Computing,   99556 was closing crl  rank for delhi region student in DTU.

And 99556 rank is roughly around 91- 92 percentile i. e around  90 marks as per our rank predictor at

Now, limited time is left for jee mains 2021 for remaining sessions , so focus on your preparation, to prepare well for your jee examination, go through chapters first and your focus should be on grasping concepts , practising questions and then revising them, go through mock test paper sample papers and previous year question papers as it will let you know your preparation level and and weak areas so that you can work on them and perform well in your examination.

You can go for diploma . Because after diploma you can go for b.tech and you can't repeat your class 11th again.

For Delhi OBC NCL student thus you can easily get admission in DTU in your preferred branch even you score between 120 to 170 marks in Jee mains paper.

One needs to take the JEE (Main) exam. One also needs to secure at60%marks (55% forOBC-NCL, 50% for SC/ST/PwD) in aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in Class XII.

I would suggest you to pursue MTech from DTU CSE. DTU is one of the best Technical Institutions for CSE in Delhi NCR after IITD. The CSE Department has strong faculty, infrastructure as well as good Placements for MTech. Being located near Technology and IT Hubs of Delhi NCR provide huge scope and impetus to training and placements.

IIT Jammu is still in its nascent years and DTU CSE has a much stronger Academic, Professional and Employer Outlook.

Dear Aspirant, now between these you'll  have to consider various factors in short term & long term such as your interest, placements, scope of this sector , location, fees... SEE as per previous years closing rank and cutoff ,you have to secure 100 marks to qualify in uceed exam. cutoff score tends to change every year , varies with the determining factors like number of applicant, questions difficulty level, seat matrix, students category and so on.  AFTER iit bombay, iit hyderabad, iit guwahati, iiit jabalpur, DTU comes next , so at this rank it seems tough chances for DTU. to know about previous years cutoff trend follow our article at below link:

DTU   leet 2021-2022 advertisement  has not released yet. as per last  years notifications seats for lateral entry was vacant for the department of  mechanical engineering, polymer and chemical technology, biotechnology, engineering physics. so you have to wait for this years notifications, if seats are available for CSE department then you should apply, unless appearing in the exam will not fruitful to you. mean while you must attempt other lateral entry examinations and test as per state wise as well.
