DTU   leet 2021-2022 advertisement  has not released yet. as per last  years notifications seats for lateral entry was vacant for the department of  mechanical engineering, polymer and chemical technology, biotechnology, engineering physics. so you have to wait for this years notifications, if seats are available for CSE department then you should apply, unless appearing in the exam will not fruitful to you. mean while you must attempt other lateral entry examinations and test as per state wise as well.

see Delhi technological university has seat reservation for both Home state and out state candidates. 85% seats are reserve for domicile state category students, where 15% seats are reserve for outside state applicants. students claiming reservation under delhi domicile OBC ncl category need to submit certificate issued by competent authority of the government of NCT delhi. your name should be same as in application form and the category certificate.

if you have valid certificate which indicates the domicile criteria you may apply as delhi region student. other wise students has option to apply as other state category candidate.

see seat  Intake for DTU is higher then NSUT. as per JAC delhi 2020, admission counselling  information, DTU has total seat intake for b.tech course is - 2399 , this includes category wise domicile and All India category seats.

whether NSUT total seat intake includes category wise domicile and All India category is - 1876 .

In 2019 seat intake for dtu and nsut increases with addition of ews quota.

well it never easy to secure seat in any colleges comes under tier 1 category from All india category, seat intake is less for all india category and cutoff score greater than home state quota. Delhi technological university computer engineering department has ST GENERAL OUTSIDE (STGNO) SEAT INTAKE IS : 4 For computer engineering. st GENERAL domicile (STGND) seat intake is - 26.

see cutoff score changes every year and it depends on the determining factors like number of applicant, questions difficulty level, seat matrix, students category, choice of stream etc. Joint Admission Committee ( JAC ) Delhi conducts counselling for admission to B.TECH , B.ARCH courses to 4 government institute under NCT, Delhi. based on previous years closing score you have no chances for any of the branch under home state quota and all India quota in DTU on rank of 1 lakh.

see cutoff score varies every year and it depends on the determining factors mentioned below:

no of applicants,

difficulty level of question paper

student category

choice of stream

however there is no surety that since your ranking is better than previous years, you have definite chances for that particular stream, it would depends on the no of applicant applied for that particular stream. so be positive and participate in the counselling process when it starts.

Dear aspirant,

As you have mentioned that if you score 120 marks in jee mains ,will you be able to get IT in DTU or not, so let me tell you in this marks your predicted rank as per my knowledge would be somewhat around 50k.

So, in this rank  if i consider your obc category rank and home state quota IT branch is possible to grab for you. But You need to score much higher to get to stay on a safer side.

JAC 2021 counselling registrations have not yet started. The admission through JAC counselling is based on merit in JEE Main. As of now JEE Main April and May session have been postponed and the rescheduled dates are not yet announced. The counselling will only start after JEE Main final results are announced because the admission is based on merit in JEE Main so we cannot specify any date. You need to wait for the official announcement from the officials to know the schedule for JAC counselling 2021. Please keep an eye on updates regularly.
