Hello,
With a rank of 557 in GGSIPU’s biotechnology entrance exam, you're in a strong position to secure admission into the University School of Biotechnology (USBT) as it closed around rank 97 in 2024, 37 in 2023.
Hope this helps. All the best!
Hi Gourav,
No, you will not be entitled to the Defence quota in GGSIPU or JAC Delhi admissions if your father was a retired CISF officer without gallantry honour. The Defence quota in GGSIPU and JAC Delhi is primarily for children of Armed Forces (Army, Navy, Air Force) and never para-military forces such as CISF unless they also hold some gallantry awards (Shaurya Chakra, Vir Chakra, etc). Because the CISF is a part of the Ministry of Home Affairs and not Ministry of Defence, a retired CISF officer (not including any gallantry distinctions) will not be recognised as being eligible under Defence quota.
Hello,
Based on the available data, the expected CLAT 2025 cutoff for the EWS (Economically Weaker Section) category for outside Delhi candidates applying to the University School of Law and Legal Studies (USLLS) under Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) is anticipated to be around CLAT rank 1,949. However, this is based on previous year data. Go through the official website for accurate cut-off.
Hope this helps. All the best!
