Hello Aspirant,
If you take admission in IIT through general category you have to pay an amount of 2 lakhs excluding mess and hostel charge.
Hostel charge and mess are about 70–80 thousands per year.
2*4=8 lakhs
0.70*4=2.8 lakhs
Total =10.8 lakhs
If your parent’s income is below 6 lakh then probably you would be provided MCM (Merit-cum-Means).For that you have to maintain good CGPA - without any backlog in subjects and extra curricular activities. You shouldn't have any disciplinary action against you in the college.
If are SC/ST/Physically Handicapped, then your entire academic fee would be relaxed. You would also get various other scholarships as per to your academic performance.
You can refer to this link below for the official website of IIT and get you fees detail.

The campus at IIT Bombay is huge and got modern labs and classrooms. Libraries are full of books and online stuff, high speed internet everywhere. Labs have good equipments for research in computer science. Its nice but sometimes crowded. Hostel rooms are okay, not fancy but clean. Overall, infrastructure help a lot in PhD work.
IIT Bombay offers a spacious campus with modern classrooms and advanced labs and the libraries were equipped however the workload can be intense and the campus can feel crowded during peak hours overall it supports academic excellence with a few challenges
My college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments from both academics and sports activities. It has Hostels for all the students from btech, mtech to phds so we don't have to look for the Pg outside the college.
