So we can not predict properly what will be the exact cutt off marks. But if we take a glance at last year cutt off marks there are enough chances to get admission in IIT Bombay.

If you belong to OBC or SC/ST category then There is high chances that you can get admission as per your choice. Gate 2017 Cutoff for M.TECH. in Steel Technology, are mentioned below-

For GATE 2017

GN Cut off- 400

OBC-360

SC/ST-297

Just convert your marks in GATE Score. There are various website that can simply convert marks to score according to GATE Stream and Year. You may easily google it.

For OBC candidates the score of 30 means you have cleared the cutoff marks and above that a score of 40-60 will increase the chance of admission into IITs. Last year cutoff for OBC candidates in IIT Bombay was 540. The cutoff also changes year to year so be prepared. Hope this answer would have helped you

To get admission in IIT bombay you have to write entrance exams like JEE advanced , gate etc.

Yes, there is lateral entry in IITs but you will be eligible to take admission in 1st year of engineering.Total course is for 4 years.

Tuition fee for IITs is 2 lakhs there is complete fee waiver for SC and ST students.

The cutoff is the minimum rank that a student will have to secure to be eligible for admission  in IIT's..Cutoff vary according to the course of the participant and their category..Jee advance cutoff for IIT Bombay will be prepared by official authorities by taking a variety of factors into consideration..The cutoff of jee advance of IIT Bombay consists of opening and closing rank needed for admission.Only those applicants who meet the cutoff will be termed as eligible for admission in this institute.Ineligible candidates will be disqualified ..Cutoff of the exam is prepared  on the basis of no. of applicants , previous year cutoff trend, performance of the applicants and many more .. The cutoffs will  not remain same every year it has some difference but not so high , a slight difference in marks.

College Infrastructure

The campus at IIT Bombay is huge and got modern labs and classrooms. Libraries are full of books and online stuff, high speed internet everywhere. Labs have good equipments for research in computer science. Its nice but sometimes crowded. Hostel rooms are okay, not fancy but clean. Overall, infrastructure help a lot in PhD work.

IIT Bombay offers a spacious campus with modern classrooms and advanced labs and the libraries were equipped however the workload can be intense and the campus can feel crowded during peak hours overall it supports academic excellence with a few challenges

My college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments from both academics and sports activities. It has Hostels for all the students from btech, mtech to phds so we don't have to look for the Pg outside the college.
