Hello,

As you mentioned that you are wanting to take admission in food technology in ICT Mumbai so let me tell you that you need to secure atleast 96-97 percentile in jee mains to get into ICT Mumbai.

But these cut offs varies according to the jee mains applicants and also number of applicants who are applying for ICT Mumbai. It's safer to keep your percentile atleast close to 97 percentile. Other factors which decides the cut offs includes choices filled by the candidates, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the examination.

Hello Juilee

The institute of chemical Technology offers B.pharam course but you have to pass an exam called MHT-CET to get in there.

The B.pharma course is 4 yr. Course and admission date has been opened from 15th may 2022 for admission in 2022 to 2023.

And same is for Bombay college of pharmacy, you have to give the MHT-CET exam to get into this course in Maharastra.

  1. Satara College of Pharmacy, Satara, fees is around 70,000 Indian Rupees.

they did not mention the cut off specifically anywhere online but they did mention the eligibility criteria which is

All of the topics mentioned in Group -! In addition, any one of the subjects from Group II

Hope this information helps you..

All the best.

Hello Aspirant

Overall based on the outcomes of your course in any of the phases of your life you need job  experience in order to achieve promotion in work field. So yes you can choose a job in your upcoming 2-3 years to achieve your best career perspectives. Whereas at the same time having a M.TECH degree is beneficial over B.TECH. Hence even if you opt for a job after few years you need to prepare for GATE and pursue your M.TECH, however on the basis of the current scenario having a B.TECH+M.TECH degree will not be that useful, rather choose a job of your field of choice and gain experience.

Hope it helps!!!

Hello aspirant,

Hope you are doing well...!!

Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai (ICT Mumbai) previously known as the University Department of Chemical Technology (UDCT) was established in 1933 with the support of multiple industries. In the recent rankings of 2021, ICT Mumbai has been placed at the 5th position among the NIRF Pharmacy Category.

As per your query, I would be glad to tell you that ICT Mumbai offers admission in B Pharma courses through its MHT-CET entrance test.  Candidates need to score a very good rank to secure admission in it. For your reference, I am sharing the cut off:-

General: 175

Sc: 150

OBC: 162

I hope this information helps you!

All the best:)

To begin with, you can take the MHT-CET even if you do not live in Maharashtra; but, if you do not have a Maharashtra domicile, it is futile because the Maharashtra government only admits persons who have a Maharashtra domicile.

The good news is that ICT Mumbai has a special 30% quota for only JEE Mains applicants who are not from a minority group.

So, if you want to get into ICT, just take your JEE Mains and fill out a separate form from the institution for admission under the all-India category. Furthermore, you can expect to score at least 170–180 in your mains to get into your selected branch.

Hope this helps
