Sorry to say you but you have not mentioned in which subject in which stream you want to get admission,that's why it is quite difficult to say about which college is best among them because all are are top in each Subject.

But in general competition it may be said that you can choose between Shastra and LPU according to your problem of education both of the institutes  has a good record of placement and environment of education.

In LPU university In order to join CSE you have to appear in JEE exam and LUPNEST exam. This university offers two B. tech one is Computer Science Engineering and Computer Science engineering Hons. For Hons total fee is Rs.12.16 lakhs and for normal CSE it is Rs.7.65 lakhs.

In GITAM university Hyderabad in computer science branch it offers 6 courses and total fee for B. tech Computer Science and engineering is Rs.11.98 lakhs

CBIT has very good infrastructure which isn't unique among the three but the labs and libraries are better in CBIT. Also the faculties are active in research which is a great indication for any student interested in science and technology. The college offers good placement and the curriculum are well designed. According to me the sequence of preference can be:

So I am considering here the factors like:

• Infrastrucutre
• Curriculum
• Faculty

Both the colleges you have mentioned have good infrastructures.  So if you think of it then there are no as such differences. Although LPU may have some extra feautures in hostels and other facilities which isn't a concern in this case.

In terms of curriculum I would prefer Christ university more than LPU. The christ University syllabus for most of the courses are well organized and its better to have a well organized curriculum.

Now for faculties LPU has better faculties than Christ University but the professors in Christ University are more familar to research than others. Always remember that its better to have faculties active in research.

Thus as you can see as per my opinion I would recommend you Christ university over LPU. Also I would recommend you to conduct some research before taking any such decisions. Its your career and you should relaize the best for your career.

There is no official data provided by the lpu jalandhar for its seat distribution but as per my knowledge each branch has 60 seats atleast because courses like B.Arch and other courses usually has a total 120 seats.

But every year seat matrix is subjected to change so you can except higher number of seats for the current year.
