Dear friend, the Supreme Court has ruled in the famous Bharathidasan University versus AICTE case that it is not obligatory for a university, created under an Act of a competent legislature, to seek and secure prior approval of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) to start a department for imparting a course or programme in technical education or a technical institution as an adjunct to the university itself to conduct technical courses of its choice and selection. What it means is that the AICTE Act,1987 is applicable only to 'technical institutions' and universities are not ' technical institutions', excluding them from the purview of the AICTE Act. So, all the universities whether govt.like DU, JNU etc or private like LPU, SMU etc just need UGC approval that they have, not AICTE approval.

So, you can go ahead with your admission in LPU.

Hey Guyyam!

35 marks is way way less than any cutoff released by any private or government law college. You have not even scored 30% marks in the paper. It is really needless to say that you won't be able to get any college.
I am sure this was your first attempt and you were not very familiar with the paper pattern. But don't worry. Its not the end. You have fair enough time for CLAT 2020. Just forget this year, sit down, take a deep breath, formulate a well planned strategy suiting you and your capabilities and start your preparation. For one year just forget everything and cling to your dream of being a lawyer. And I am so sure you will come out with flying colors next year.

Hope it helps. Good Luck.

Hi,
Lovely Professional University is one of the most prestigious universities in India. It is the largest and best private university in India. It offers 200+programmes. It provides abundant opportunities for students to rise along with studies. LPU has been consistently ranked as top university in various areas like placements, quality education, industry interface, infrastructure, international relations etc.

Hello there. Placement have nothing to do with your past examination number. In most of the cases even your degree marks are not given that much importance. What's matter the most for any placement is the skill set you have. If you have developed a good skill set then it doesn't matter how much marks you have got in your +2 exams.

Another thing is being that sometimes in interview you might be asked about your numbers. At that time you must be prepared to answer it in a way that put a positive impression toward the interviewer.

Just a simple tip to you for your placement drives. Get yourself registered on LinkedIn, GitHub and other such platforms where you can showcase your skills. If you are able to make a good profile over their, you might not even need to sit in placement drives as many recruiter will contact you directly from their based on your skill set.

Hello,

Admission is based on CAT and CMAT.There is no minimum marks requirement for eligibility to appear in these exams. You will have to get a good percentile.
