Congratulations ,you have scored good marks.From this year if you are applying for admission in B.Tech programme,you have to qualify LPU entrance exam called LPUNEST . If you score well in LPUNEST in the subject and you meet the basic eligibility, you can get admission and scholarships as well .You should have passed with 60% agggregate in +2 with(Physics,Mathematics and English) or if you have 90% or more you will be given more scholarship.You need to qualify this test with 30% or more.

You will be appearing for the Lpu entrance examination (i.e,LPU NEST) from home only,this year.
Due to the ongoing pandemic,the authorities have proposed this mode of examination.
Some of the instructions which you have to keep in mind are:

*The examination will require proper internet connection of 1mb/sec.

*The room should be properly lighted so that the images captured are not blurred.

*The desktop/laptop should have proper working camera,mic.

Mostly placements trainings classes are long duration because they are more focusing on training their aspirant to crack the interview and its a good sign from any of college .  The recruitment drives are a part of campus engagements and are held during the final year. Before that the university provides us skill training, internships and fine-tune's our communication and verbal ability so as to help us make through the recruitment tests.

The LPU NEST 2021 exam will be organized by the lovely Professional University. It is a university level entrance examination, which is carried out once a year. The National entrance and Scholarship Test (NEST) is conducted to offer admission to courses such as engineering , management, law and other courses. Scholarships are also provided by the authorities.

Criteria for eligibility (Qualifying Exam):

• Pass with 60 percent aggregate marks in 10 + 2 (with English , Physics , Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology or Biotechnology) or equivalent.
• In the case of a candidate who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived provided that the candidate has studied English as a medium in his qualifying examination.
• 5 percent relaxation in the North East and Sikkim candidates / Defense Personnel and their Dependents / Kashmiri Migrants.

Criteria for admission

• Merit at the qualifying examination

Fees at LPU for btech is 90000 INR per semester that is total 360000.

However you get scholarship based on your board results and lpunest/jee main scores.

For hostel, if you choose standard room, rates are-

6 people- Rs 42000/-    (52000/- for ac)

5 people- Rs 47000/-    (57000/- for ac)

4 people- Rs 52000/-    (62000/- for ac)

3 people- Rs 62000/-   (77000/- for ac)

2 people- Rs 73000/-  (88000/- for ac)

1 person- Rs 95000/-  (1.15lakh for ac)

For appartments the price list is-

4 people- 82000/- without pantry and 87000/- with pantry

3 people- 1 lakh without pantry and 1.05 lakh with pantry

2 people - 1.2 lakh without pantry and 1.25 lakh with pantry

1 person - 1.5 lakh without pantry and 1.55 lakh with pantry

Dormitory - Rs 29000/- to Rs 39000/- depending on number of people sharing it.

Same fee structure is for girls as well.

Not all colleges accept lateral entry for aerospace engineering but for regular entry both LPU and amity are good and renowned. Keeping in mind placements then for aerospace the chances of placements are low as india has not much developed in this sector. But yes both the university is good.
