Very good university. different departments are made for different types of courses. Departments are very good, nice, peaceful, neat, clean, fully furnished. Library, sports ground, canteen also available.
Teachers are highly qualified. highly qualified and fully experienced teachers are hired for the academics. Head of the departments are very cooperative and help students and solve every problem of the students.
Placement takes a superb place in the university. Large and well reputated companies comes here to give placements students of different kind of courses. students can get better job opportunity and placement from here.
According to my experience lpu has provided the quality education and is achieving milestone in the field of cse,as a student of lpu I will tell others that if ur planning to join lpu lpz join without any hesitation, because how much u put effect here the successful ur in ur career and placement.
Lpu is really well known university and has highest rank in top private unversity, As a Student I really like to tell others that lpu has best service for students in campus in everything, like education, food rooms ,staff.Lpu is great place where u can experience lot of things and meet different country and state people and make astringent network.
I really loved the campus life ,as it's campus is vast and we'll maintain, with greenary. Education is good and behavior of staff is very good ,they support u in every thing. The means is really very good and the service provide by lpu is really very good. But as university it has lots of student, I think it should it should have specific seat limit.
As a student I think coursera is platform where I learn lot of thinks and enjoy learning As is easy and good quality in the education field.
Campus is diverse and good for cultural and academic both
College infrastructure stands well out of other schools as it have all the necessary facilities and well equipped classrooms which are well maintained, having smart board, Ac etc. The living spaces are good and is having so many beautiful scenic places and premises have much great number of food spots.
I am a Bsc(Hons)Agriculture student and I chose Lpu because of its recognition and is the first private university to be accredited with ICAR. And the quality of teaching is Good as of my opinion and the curriculum is mostly job oriented and are also providing Jrf classes and other coaching classes for higher studies.
Many students are getting placements in different states and mostly the placements are in sales and Business departments for Bsc Ag students. Almost those who opt for placements are getting in some companies but not everyone and it depends on several factors like Cgpa, skills and many more. The placements process is little bit lengthy but the college is so supportive.
Yes it's value for money as I got greater exposure from the college and learned so many aspects from college life. It will be difficult at first to get used but got acquainted with it later.
Campus Life was good as I got so many contacts and bonds from different states and places but the location is little far from the city and the staffs and teachers are supporting and have have options for students like students welfare and all for addressing problems. Also the campus is having its own hospital facility in the premise but for higher treatments have to go to City.
The facilities provided at our college are just amazing. It is one of the most reputed universities in India. Our campus is very large, with students from many different states of India studying here. The classrooms are well equipped and well furnished. All the facilities are available: canteen, mess, sports, and many more.
The teachers are very generous and able to make students adaptable to any circumstances. They are very helpful in nature. Some of the old teachers are so nice to us. The semester exam level is moderate; it's not too difficult and not too easy. The curriculum is relevant.
About 80-90% of students are somehow placed in our university. It is a highly reputed university for placement. The highest package offered to BCA students is 24 LPA. The average package offered is 8.4 LPA, and the lowest package offered is 4 LPA. So overall, the placement is very nice.
The infrastructure of my college is one of the best in India. It is located on 850 acres of land, and the campus is fully landscaped with greenery. There are 60 buildings, each dedicated to a specific branch or course of study. There are also eight boys hostels and six girls hostels, which offer a variety of room options, including single, double, triple, and quadruple occupancy, both air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned.
The teachers are very open and willing to clear doubts. They are available in their cabins in the respective branch blocks from 9am to 5pm. We can book an appointment for clarification. There is also a mentor for every 10 students from different sections. The marking scheme is simple: CA=25 marks, Attendance=5 marks, MID=20 marks, End=50 marks.
In my batch, 80% of students were placed. The highest package was 42 LPA, and the lowest was 4.5 LPA. Infosys, TCS, and other MNCs were among the recruiters. Internship opportunities were available, with 70% of students securing internships. Some of the roles offered were penetration tester, software developer, and GoLang developer.
This college has best infrastructure and all the basic facilities are available in the campus. Campus contains hostel with gym, library, good quality of food in mess, sports grounds, swimming pool and all the things are used by us and well maintained.
Academics of the college is really good. The faculty are well qualified almost all the teachers are PHD holders. They are very cooperative, helpful to us. They make our skills developed and enroll us in the different activities.
The quality of placement at the college is at the top of the world. Good companies are coming for better opportunities, better placement and students are placed with better salary package of 8LPA. College is supportive and provides good opportunities.
The infrastructure of the college is very well appreciable and very well maintained . It has very good name because of their rich qualified education provides to the students . And all the rooms have the air conditioning facility including the hostel rooms .
The teaching faculty are highly qualified and have the high experience . Coming to the academics there is a bit stress about the academics . Because of the high reputation of the college the parents expectations on their children also increased .
During the campus placements around only quarter of the students got placed , the college management also did not take the responsibility about the promise of the 100 percentage placements . The salary packages are also 30 thousand per month .
One of the best universities, in my opinion, with excellent facilities is LPU. The quality of the campus is unmatched due to its top-notch infrastructure, and our library is among the largest in the country with a vast collection of books that students can check out. Excellent hostel amenities include a badminton court within the hostel, a mess, a canteen, an open gym in the park, and various seater rooms with associated bathrooms.
There are many exams at this university, and regular class assessment marks are also included in the final assessment. Therefore, students must be serious when taking class tests. There are many faculty members, not all of whom are up to par; there are new faculty members who lack experience as well. Nevertheless, there are many excellent teachers here. The academics are also good here. However, they can also cause stress and depression in the students.
The institution offers many options, but many of my peers in the fourth year of my bachelor's program are still unemployed and struggling. Regular placements occur, but out of 300 applicants, only two or three will be chosen, meaning there is fierce competition. The typical pay range for a mca is 4-5 to 10-12.
I selected LPU because it offered me a 50% scholarship, which I was able to obtain after receiving good scores on the LPUNEST exam. Good amenities are provided by LPU at such a low cost. After the school, my annual fees are only $2. leadership
Personally, I think LPU's campus life is fantastic. There are many different things to like about it. There's plenty to enjoy here, from sports to cultural events. I really like hanging out around the campus mall with my friends.
The classrooms and libraries were good. The overall infrastructure was good. The living areas were clean and the food was hygienic and tasty. I liked the sports grounds there and the hostels there. All the amenities were well-maintained.
The academics of the college were good in terms of Mechanical Engineering, especially. I studied it as I wanted to develop my skills in car mechanics and mechanical engineering as a whole. The course was updated and it made me job-ready.
The college had good placements at that time. Most of the students of our batch got placed and the average was around 4 lacs and the highest was around 12 lacs in our time. The placement process was good and the college was supportive.
The college fee was around 90 thousand per year and my experience in terms of the value of money was satisfying as I got skilled and got industry ready as well.
The college campus was huge and the best thing about it was its energetic environment. The teachers were good and the location of the college was very good. It could handle all the emergencies safely.
The college was a reputed institution.
the infrastructure, especially in terms of buildings and auditorium, didn’t meet my expectations. While the campus itself is visually stunning and well-maintained, the upgrades to better support students, especially in higher studies like MBA.
The academic resources like libraries and online materials were adequate, but I believe more emphasis should have been placed on providing hands-on experience and connecting theory with real-time financial issues.
As a result, many students, including myself, had to actively search for opportunities outside of campus placements. While a few of my classmates did manage to secure decent positions, to connect student's ith top companies in the financial sector
That said, LPU’s affordable fee structure makes it a viable option for students on a budget, but those who expect top-notch facilities and placements may need to look elsewhere. Overall, if you’re looking for an MBA
I attended quite a few fresher’s parties, farewell events, a chance to meet students from different courses and backgrounds. However, outside of these major events, day-to-day life on campus wasn’t good.
Hello aspirant,
Based on the previous year cutoff trends, you have to score more than 90-95 percentile in IPUCET to consider safe chances of getting admission in IPU. Considering your JEE Mains rank of 1.16 lakh and percentile of 92.2, let's evaluate the options:
Option 1: IPE in NIT Jalandhar
- Branch: Instrumentation and Process Engineering (IPE) might not be as popular as CSE or ECE, but it's a niche field with good job prospects.
- College: NIT Jalandhar is a reputable institution with a good rating (4.1/5).
Option 2: CSE in UIET Hoshiarpur
- Branch: Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) is a highly sought-after field with excellent job opportunities.
- College: UIET Hoshiarpur is affiliated with Punjab University, and its CSE program has a rating of 3.7/5.
Option 3: ECE in CCET Chandigarh
- Branch: Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) is a core branch with good job prospects.
- College: CCET Chandigarh is located in a prime location, offering access to various opportunities, and has a better faculty compared to UIET Hoshiarpur. ECE at CCET is considered better than most courses.
Based on the information, here's a suggestion:
- If you're interested in CSE, UIET Hoshiarpur might be a good option, but consider the college's reputation and placement record.
- If you're inclined towards ECE, CCET Chandigarh seems like a better choice due to its location, faculty, and placement opportunities.
- IPE in NIT Jalandhar is also a viable option if you're interested in the instrumentation and process engineering field.
Ultimately, prioritize your interests and career goals when making a decision. Consider factors like college culture, location, and alumni network in addition to branch and college reputation.
