Hello,
NIT Kurukshetra was established in 1963 and NIRF rank is 40 and base of engineering college rank is 20 in this year. All departments are good in this college. Facilities are also good. But for mechanical department highest package is 30lakh lpa and average package is 4 to 5lakh lpa. Almost 90% students are got placed. But due to covid situation the campusing number is low this year. Maruti, bazaz so many companies were coming.
Now come to the DTU college. It was established in 1941. So old college and reputed college. Faculties are good, placement good. But in mechanical department placement is mainly coming for coding or IT sector. The highest package is 10lakh lpa and average package is 3to 4lakh lpa. And for covid situation this college was organised only few campusing.
So now it's your turn think of it which is good for you.
All the best.
Hello Candidate,
It doesn’t matter which branch you are in, you can still pursue your interest.
Also, the academics at DTU is good. Also, the number of companies visiting DTU will be more than NIT Kurukshetra.
So,It’s totally upon you, both the choices are good.
Choose wisely,
All The Best.
Hello,
If you have to chhose between ECE only then I think it will mainly be based on you.
As you have one option of NIT and other is a state university.
Fee of DTU is more. But placements is good.
As compared to NIT kurukshetra ECE placements of DTU is better.
So you can choose based on these.
All The Best.
If your options had Manipal CSE, I still might have overlooked the other two and selected the latter option. But in your case I believe NIT Kurukshektra Mechanical would be the best choice. BITS Hyderabad is still not upto the mark of BITS Pilani or BITS Goa and doesnt enjoy the same employer outlook, faculty or research facilities. NIT Kurukshetra on the other hand is one of the oldest and finest Technical Institutes in North India, next to IIT Delhi and IT Roorkee. Mechanical Engineering is perhaps the oldest branch at NIT Kurukshetra and has excellent faculty and research facikties besides having an excellent locational advantage. Being located near Industrial hubs at Gurgaon, Manesar, Noida, Chandigarh and Delhi provides immense scope and placement prospects. Most of the Top Companies like Tata Motors, Maruti Suzuki, Hero Motocorp, Bajaj, Honda, JSW, Jindal Stainless, Reliance visit the institute for campus recruitment.

Hello,
NIT KURUKSHETRA is a very old and reputed NIT which is currently at 6th rank in all the 31 NIT'S .
Production engineering at NIT KURUKSHETRA is a good branch which will a have a bigger scope in the coming years and it is a field which will grow in quite a good way. The average package is 6.25 lakhs which is appreciably high and there are good opportunities in this branch. The highest package this year has been whopping 18 lakhs!!!!.
Of course CS, in present scenario, is a branch which has greater number of opportunities than any other branch .
So, if you are from north india, then I will recommend you to go with NIT KKR.
Dear Aspirant,
Civil and CSE both are two different branches with completely different field. CSE however is considered the best branch as it has numerous job opportunities available for it. Speaking about NIT kurukshetra civil the branch is good you an get around 70-80% placement for civil engineers in NIT Kurukshetra and there are even government job available for civil engineers.
Speaking about CSE in IIIT vadodara, CSE branch is always considered a safe branch in terms of job opportunities. The placement for CSE branch in IIIT Vadodara is really good around 85-90%. Companies such as TCS, Cognizant, Infosys, HCL, Mahindra and Mahindra etc visit the campus every year to recruit cse engineers.
Now it totally depends on your interest in software field and hardware field.
Hope this information helps you.
Thank you
The academic infrastructure is well-developed, with spacious lecture halls, modern classrooms, and specialized laboratories that support practical learning. Departments like Computer Science, Electronics, and Mechanical Engineering are equipped with advanced labs and workshops, ensuring that students gain hands-on experience alongside theoretical knowledge. The central library is another highlight, housing thousands of books, journals, and e-resources. It remains a hub for research and self-study, with comfortable reading areas and digital facilities
The campus is big and green with the descent with all basic facilities like library, sports complex ,labs.classrooms are good but some hostels are old and need renovation. All over campus is very good.
The infrastructure is quite good and all the classes have access and good lighting and speaker too . There is enough space to walk at night and do jogging . The sports complex is a bit under developed.
