Hello Dear,

As the percentile mentioned by you your General AIR rank must be between 246089 - 175204. As you have not mentioned your category in which you belong. You have less chances to get admission on this rank. SASTRA university does not give admission on the basis of JEE mains only it also consider the board percent which should be 95+ or minimum 90+. You need to have 100+ of JEE score and 95+ % in 12th as minimum to get into SASTRA under stream 1  You can check more about from the link below:

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/sastra-university-btech-eligibility-criteria

But as you know cut off depends upon the number of seats available, the difficulty level of paper and number of candidates writing the examination. And, hence varies every year depending on these factors. You have not mentioned your home state so the chances are very less. You can check the rank vs percentile vs marks below:

You can check our predictors link to know more about the college which you can get

Hi Aspirant,

Generally cutoff depends and varies from year to year. However There is no as such minimum or cutoff for SASTRA University.75% weightage is given to board exams and 25% to JEE Main Percentile.Based on the marks candidates are shortlisted. So there are quite good chances that you get a seat in this college and also in good top branches like CS,EE,Aerospace,Biotechnology etc.

Hope it helps!!

Hello Aspirant,

In Sastra University, admissions are considered for two streams, stream 1 is engineering and stream 2 is non-engineering. For engineering 70% of seats are based on JEE Main & Class XII marks with 25% and 75% weightage respectively. Stream 2 will consist of 30% seats and here your 12th aggregte will be considered . So if you asking for engineering then ,your averge of physics ,chemistry and mathematics or biology will be considered for selection. If it is for non engineering courses then your language and English score will  be considered to calculate the overall 12th percentage.

hi,

see sastra university is one of the best university in India. every year numerous students apply for sastra university, cutoff score changes every year, depends on some of the factors like stream of engineering , number of applicants etc. 30% seats of total seat of b.tech course is fills by 10+2 course score. however it is quite difficult to predict the chances, however you should apply for both of the stream of application, stream 1 s evaluated by jee main score + 10+2 score, stream 2- only 10+2 score.

hope it would help.

Hi Candidate,

Several colleges and Institutions look for the 10+2 Boards Examinations results as an important criteria for admission and also have a minimum Cut-off eligibility to apply for the counselling rounds prior to admission.

Generally, if we talk of 10+2 Results, the Best of Five subjects are taken in consideration, but in case you are applying through Sports Quota you need to include your Physical Education marks, whether it is or isn't your Main Five Subjects.

Hope that this answer helps you. ALL The Best!!
