Hey Rishu

As per the reviews by the students currently studying in Sastra the course curriculum taught to them is good with projects that are industry-Oriented. The syllabu is pretty much updated(so that it can go  according to the development in technology  ) hence I can say that the course  is relevant to the current  placement needs and industry requirements.

Dear candidate

Sastra University is known for its computing branches CSE ,IT and ICT all three branches are good at Sastra University but when we compare IT and CSE in general Obviously CSE is better branch than IT as it is a very demanding or popular course and if we compare any particular like placements its almost same but it is difficult to get into CSE than IT in sastra University almkst both branches have same average package in placements though which is 4 lack per anum but what is better totally depends on your interests and wishes.

All the best

Hope this Information is helpful

Dear candidate

Sastra University is good for its computing braches which means undoubtedly sastra University is good for Computer science engineering, Information Technology and Information and communication Technology there are the best braches at satra university as i can say that IT and CSE are better branches than ECE by comparing a lot of factors like placements, packages, pacement Percentage,  internships and many other factors but it is difficult to get into Computer science engineering  and Information Technology  than Electronics and communication engineering and most difficult is getting into Computer Science Engineering as it has a highest cutoff compared to remaining others and finally the choice is yours and what you wish to get into but tou should also consider that in what branches you can get into by your score or rank.

Hope this Information is helpful

Nearly 90% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered is around 24 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is about 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies of our college are TCS, Infosys and Wipro. Nearly 50% of the students got internships in Ashok Leyland, TVS, etc. Top roles offered to the students are assistant manager, supervisor, etc.

HOPE YOU GET THIS INFORMATION USEFUL.

Hey,

There is no exact number for how many people applies for SASTRA through stream 1. Even the administration doesn’t mention about it publicly.

Perhaps you got this question in your mind because you are thinking about whether I can a get a seat in SASTRA or not!

No problem. Initially everyone thinks like this before counselling.

You need not to worry about the number of applications. You need to bother about your rank after the results were announced.

If your rank is less than 1500 in Stream 1(Jee main+inter marks), then there is a chance of getting seat in SASTRA. If the same is above 1500, then there is less chance.

If your rank is less than 1000 in Stream 2(only inter marks), then there is a chance of getting seat in SASTRA. If the same is above 1000, then there is less chance.

All the best!!!

College Infrastructure

My experience with this college is a mixed one ..The infrastructure of the university is good and is the most remarkable for the computing programs The research facilities here are top notch with fully equipped Labs and great professors (not all but a few ones are very experienced and influential in their field..other buildings are average and there is a wifi facility available 24/7 for laptops..no cycle is available ..The food is good..but everything has its bad days too..the form is quite clean

it is good feel to write review for helping juniors
