The best and wonderful place for everything

    College Infrastructure

College with really good infrastructure. Class rooms with projectors, smart class rooms, auditorium, wonderful lab equipment in good condition, wifi etc.. All the needed requirements for students. Regarding cleanliness, it's the best. Mess food, living space, hostels, class rooms are very hygienic.

    Academics

I am a current btech final year student in computer science. Quality of teaching is decent enough to get oneself equipped with many skills. The university has a decent rank in NIRF with good accreditation. Curriculum is updated and lot many courses are introduced that make a student ready for real world applications. Whatever we study will definitely make us ready for job.

    Placements

I can just say that, a shower of placements. Unless until one opts out of the placements, he/she will definitely get placed. Amazing quality in placements. Almost 90 percent of students are placed. Highest package went till 30 lakhs and went to computer science, IT, ECE. Average salary would be 25k. Placement process wasnt easy, but college is extremely motivating and supportive

    Value for Money

Course costed like 55k per semester. Semester is for 6 months and 55k for 6 months. So per year, it would cost 1,10,000 and it is pretty reasonable. Every penny is worth over there. I really felt that I am getting and I got my money's worth. They inculcate education in such an amazing way

    Campus Life

Campus life is full of colours. Liberty with safety. Every parents dream that their child should be secure. This college fulfills that without making student miss their college life. To me everything is the best. They kind of strict with girls. As in, in terms of permissions , rules. Apart from that everything is the best. It handles all types of emergencies. Its location is thanjavur. Safety is a given thing here.

Have a question related to SASTRA University Thanjavur ?

I wrote CLAT and got only 11300 rank I will write 12th boards in a few days and im sure ill get 580+/600 in 12th. Im a resident of trichy will i be able to get admission in sastra University for law.

With an AIR of 11,300 in CLAT and your excellent predicted score of 580+/600 in your 12th boards , you have a good chance of getting admission to SASTRA University for the BA LLB program, though admission is not solely based on CLAT. SASTRA University has its own admissions process for the BA LLB program, which may include a merit-based selection (based on your board marks) and CLAT scores as well. Since you're a resident of Trichy , you may also be eligible for local preference in some cases, which could further increase your chances. It’s advisable to check the official SASTRA University admission guidelines to confirm if your CLAT rank and board marks meet their cutoff for this year, and ensure you apply on time.

Since SASTRA has a reputation for a solid law program, make sure to complete the application process on their official portal and stay updated on any specific admission criteria or deadlines.

SASTRA University's School of Law offers 60 seats each in its three undergraduate law programs: BA LLB (Hons.), B.Com LLB (Hons.), and BBA LLB (Hons.). Admission is based on CLAT scores and fulfilling other eligibility criteria.

i got 2500 rank in stream 2 in sastra university can i get seat in ece branch

You have very less scope of getting ECE with an AIR rank of 1000+ in SASTRA. Every year the trend changes and the cut-offs of CSE and ECE will be varying. But mostly the cut-off rank for ECE will fall in the range of 400-500%. The combined score of all students will be used to determine the SASTRA Rank (Stream 1) and admission will be based on the SASTRA Rank secured. Stream 2 Admission: Applicants under Stream 2 will be admitted based on their normalized aggregate +2 or its equivalent marks. This is for 30% of the total seats. Electronics and Communications Engineering is one of the most popular branches of engineering which involves researching, designing, developing, testing and maintaining of electronic equipment.
