Have a question related to SASTRA University Thanjavur ?

I got 976 marks in ipe and 70 percentile in jee mains am I eligible to get a seat in sastra university in mechanical engineering.I am from Andhra Pradesh.

    hi,

If you have scored 976 marks in IPE and got 70 percentile in JEE Mains, it might be quite difficult to get a seat in Mechanical Engineering at SASTRA University. Usually, SASTRA gives admission based on high JEE ranks or top scores in IPE, and the cutoffs for most branches, especially Mechanical, are generally much better than a 70 percentile rank. Your JEE rank may be on the higher side, which makes it tough to get into SASTRA in the first round

    HEY THERE!!!

Here’s how it works for B.Tech CSE (Core) or CSE (AI & ML) admissions at SASTRA University via Stream 2:

    1. You need to have completed your 10+2 (or an equivalent exam) in a single attempt, with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
    2. Alongside those, you need one more subject—either Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science, or Biology.
    3. You’re also required to secure at least 60% aggregate marks in these three subjects from a recognized board.
    4. There’s no entrance exam involved for Stream 2; your admission depends solely on your +2 marks.

    Hello Jyothy,

Sastra university ask you to select all courses so that if your preference choices are full due to merit/rank , you may still get admission in low preference course as per you rank. However you should firstly put those courses in preference in which you'd be okay with if first few option aren't available.
