Hello,

As you procured 26.9k sc rank in jee mains 2022 and you are wanting to take VSSUT so let me tell you that for taking admission in this college you need to apply for ojee counselling and as per the cut offs decided by the authorities ,if you clear the cut offs you will get a seat there accordingly.

However various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.

Hello,

Yes, there are chances of getting a seat in VSSUT, Burla, but unfortunately you can't get the core level branches like cs,it, electrical or mechanical etc.. You can be eligible for the lower level branches which includes the production branch or bio technology. Also you can get some self financing  btech courses.

Hello Aspirant,

You have secured a very good rank. As per your information you have chances to get admission in Vssut Burla with CSE branch. As per previous year information the cutoff was 31000 for CSE branch.

Cutoff varies every year depending on various factors. Keep in mind that your chances to grab a seat will vary on the following basis:

  • Number of seats available
  • Number of students applied for the same branch
  • Performance of the students
  • The category you belong to etc.

Hello,

It is a very dicy situation because the lowest branch has the cut off of around 2-2.2L which is the production engineering branch. I would suggest you that to keep private colleges as a back up to be on a safer side.

Colleges like VIT Vellore , SRM University , Manipal University, BITs Pilani are one of the best among the private colleges.

If you want to check out the colleges you can get , you can take the help of the college predictor link given below-

Hi,

Jee means is an entrance exam conducted for admission to various engineering courses in top institutes of India. The qualifying cut off person child for general category is 50 and for SC or St or OBC it is 40 percentile. Cut off in different institutes may depend upon various factors such as number of candidates appeared for the exam, seat availability and difficulty of examination.

Also it will be different in different institutions. Candidates who have scored a particular percentile will be qualified to write JEE advanced the by getting admission in iit's. In general category candidates must score minimum of 88.4121383 to write JEE advanced exam. With your scores you have less chances for getting admission. You may have chances in private universities.

Here is a list of private colleges that accepts JEE mains in India you can refer the article below https://engineering.careers360.com/colleges/list-of-private-engineering-colleges-in-india-accepting-jee-main

For knowing the college you can use the college predictor https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=jee_cp

Hello

Also you are a OBC NCL candidate and have appeared for jee main  examination where you have achieved 77.5percentile . But the basic criteria for getting CSE branch in any government Engineering College through jee mains examination you have to score at least 98 to 1999 percentile to get good government college for your computer science engineering branch. Percentage marks in JEE mains is a little bit of difficulty to get CSE branch in government college. Immediate eat CSE branch in reputed private engineering colleges.

Hope this helps.
