Hi!

With a rank of 68,975 in VITEEE, getting CSE in VIT Chennai is unlikely — its CSE cut-off is usually within the top 20,000–25,000 ranks. However:

  • VIT Bhopal: Yes, you have a good chance of getting CSE.
  • VIT Amaravati: Also possible for CSE at your rank.

Both Bhopal and Amaravati campuses are newer but still offer good facilities, industry tie-ups, and placements. If location is not a big factor for you, these campuses can be a smart choice to get your desired branch.

Thank you, and all the best for your admission!

Hey Aruna:)

Thanks for reaching out!

Both are strong in their own fields, the better choice depends on whether you prefer electronics or software

IIIT ECE(VLSI and Embedded system)

VIT CSE-AI

You'll learn coding,AI,data science and machine learning. placements are in IT and software companies, with generally higher average salaries .Campus life is vibrant with fests, clubs and activities.

Choose IIIT if you want a niche career with stable growth

Choose VIT for software careers and an active campus experience .

Hope you'll find this helpful!

Hello!

Here are some colleges that are better than VIT Mumbai for Computer Science in Mumbai:

1. IIT Bombay

2. Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute

3. Sardar Patel Institute of Technology

4. K. J. Somaiya College of Engineering

5. Dwarkadas J. Sanghvi College of Engineering

6. Fr. Conceicao Rodrigues College of Engineering

These are prominent institutes in India:

If you compare KIIT Bhubaneswar, VIT Vellore, and BITS Pilani on education, infrastructure, and placements, here's a view:

  • VIT Vellore stands out with infrastructure and top recruiters like Google and Microsoft. It offers the highest packages, with averages around Rs 9.9 LPA and max up to Rs 88 LPA.

  • BITS Pilani is known for strong academics and solid placements, with median packages near RS 18 LPA and top companies hiring regularly.

  • KIIT Bhubaneswar is growing fast with good facilities and decent placement offers, averaging around Rs 6.5 LPA.

All three provide quality education and good campus life, but your choice should depend on your course and preferences. For detailed info, you can visit careers360 official site

https://dqxeclau.top for details of each college and branch in it.

Here's a better comparison of both GITAM and VIT-AP:

- GITAM: Older College established in Andhra Pradesh, mostly focus on traditional computer science, average placement is about 4-5 LPA with top recruiters TCS, Wipro, Capgemini. Traditional infrastructure with beautiful coastal campus. Fees ranging around 2-2.5 LPY.

- VIT-AP is newly established and a part of VIT group that holds better brand value nationally. They offer more future scope courses that includes Python, R, data mining, AI etc. Average placement range is 4.5-6.5 LPA with recruiters that includes Infosys, Deloitte and Microsoft. Moder infrastructure with innovative, coding culture & tech events. Fees is same as GITAM.

Choose VIT-AP if your daughter is interested in data science or Moder techs, with better National exposure, better placement.

And choose GITAM for traditional CSE path with stable campus environment.

Hello Aryan

With a rank of 56.700 in VIT 2025, you have a good chance of getting Computer Science Engineering (CSE) at VIT Bhopal.

The cutoff of CSE at VIT Bhopal has followed a trend of 50,000 to 70,000. As you have the rank in that cutoff range, there is a good chance you will get it.

Here's more info about VIT Bhopal: VIT Bhopal by CAREERS360

Thank You!!!

Dear student,

It's very unlikely to get a CSE seat at VIT Bhopal or VIT Amaravati with a rank of 146,000, even with categories 4 Or 5. CSE is a highly competitive branch , and the cutoff ranks for CSE at these campuses are generally much lower than 146,000. Category 4 and 5 are higher fee categories, but even with these the cutoff ranks for CSE are generally within the range of 40,000 to 70,000 for VIT Bhopal and possibly slightly higher for VIT Amaravati. For more information you can visit this link given below.

VIT-AP (Vellore Institute of Technology, Amaravati) does not participate in AP EAMCET counselling for B.Tech admissions. VIT conducts its own entrance exam called VITEEE and admissions are primarily through VITEEE rank or direct admission (management quota).

AP EAMCET ranks are used for state colleges (like JNTU, AU, SVU regions), but private universities like VIT-AP, SRM-AP, etc., conduct their own process.

Hii,

CSBS is an emerging and highly relevant specialization designed by TCS in partnership with academic institutions like VIT. It aims to blend core CS concepts with business and data analytics skills. Now, regarding VIT-AP, the Amaravati campus is relatively new compared to VIT Vellore or Chennai. However, it is quickly gaining ground with good infrastructure, internships, and industry tie-ups.

Why you should consider CSBS at VIT-AP:

  • The course includes Data Science, AI, Business Analytics, Finance, and Management along with CS subjects.
  • You become job-ready for roles like Product Analyst, Business Analyst, Technical Consultant, and even Software Developer.
  • VIT’s placement cell has strong TCS and Cognizant connections for CSBS.
  • A few points to consider being a newer campus, placements may not be as extensive as Vellore’s, but they’re growing.

The course is great if you're looking for a career in tech with a business lens ideal for startups, fintech, and consulting domains.

All the best!

Hello aspirant,

When choosing between VIT Bhopal and Amity Noida for CSE, it depends on your priorities like placements, fees, etc

VIT Bhopal is known for its strong technical training and decent placement records. The faculty is good, and the curriculum is updated with current industry demands. Hostel facilities are available for both girls and boys.Hostel and food expenses can add up to around 1-2 lakhs per year, depending on the type of room you choose. Since you’re from the PH-3 category, you may get some concession or support through special categories during admission.

Amity Noida, on the other hand, has a large and well-maintained campus with good infrastructure. The academic fee for CSE is slightly higher and may go up to around 4 lakhs per year. The placements are decent, but when compared directly, VIT usually has better CSE placement stats, especially for product-based and tech companies.

With your rank, you should be able to get admission through institute quota or special category seats at both these colleges, but final confirmation depends on how many merit-based seats get filled early. It’s a good idea to apply early and keep checking their admission portals for updates.

All the best!
