Hi,
With a VITEEE rank of 66,560, getting Biotechnology or Biomedical Engineering at VIT Vellore is difficult, as these branches usually close at much lower ranks. You might still have a slim chance at VIT Chennai , depending on seat availability and category.
If you're flexible, you can also explore these branches at VIT Bhopal or VIT-AP , where cutoff ranks are usually higher.
Hope this helps!
With a VITEEE rank of 47,000, it's unlikely you'll get a seat at VIT Vellore for CSE or ECE in regular categories. CSE at Vellore typically closes around a rank of 7,000-8,000, while ECE closes around 15,000-16,000. However, you might have a chance at other VIT campuses like Chennai, AP, or Bhopal, or even in higher categories at Vellore.
Yes, admission to the Integrated M.Tech program at VIT Chennai can be obtained without appearing for the VITEEE exam. The program, which is a 5-year integrated course leading to both a B.Tech and M.Tech degree, admits students based on their 10+2 (or equivalent) marks.

With a VITEEE 2025 rank of 16,000, getting admission to Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) at VIT Chennai is unlikely.
Expected Cutoffs for ECE at VIT Chennai:
Category 1: 12,000–15,000 rank
Category 2: 15,000–20,000 rank
Category 3: 22,000–28,000 rank
Since your rank is 16,000, you fall within Category 2 or Category 3, which may still offer some possibility, but competition is high.

Hii,
Depending on your future goals, you can choose between CS at VIT AP and ECE at VIT Vellore or Chennai. Numerous career options in IT, software, apps, and artificial intelligence (AI) are available to those with a strong interest in computer science (CS).
Older, larger campuses with better facilities and more company visits for placements are VIT Vellore and Chennai. Since VIT AP is a more recent campus, fewer companies may be visiting it at the moment for placements.
Choose CS at VIT AP if you enjoy computers, software, and coding. Choose ECE at VIT Vellore or Chennai if you enjoy electronics and want a vibrant campus environment. Both options may be beneficial, but consider your personal interests.
Here are the official websites for the VIT campuses you're interested in:
VIT Vellore: vit.ac.in (https://vit.ac.in/)
VIT Chennai: chennai.vit.ac.in (https://chennai.vit.ac.in/)
VIT AP: vitap.ac.in (https://www.vitap.ac.in/)
Hello there,
With a VITEEE rank around 42,000, your chances for admission in
VIT-AP
to
CSE
or
CSE specializations (Category 1 or 2)
are moderate. You might get admission but not in the top specializations.
VIT-AP CSE (Category 1)
seats usually fill up faster with better ranks, so you may get a seat in Category 2 or in specializations with slightly lower demand.
About
VIT Bhopal
: Many students advise avoiding it due to lesser placement opportunities and infrastructure compared to VIT Vellore or VIT-AP.
If you get
CSE or a specialization in Category 1
at VIT Bhopal, it’s acceptable, but weigh it against other options if available.
Your preference should be:
First: VIT-AP CSE (Category 1 or 2)
Second: Other VIT campuses with CSE or specializations you prefer
Avoid:
VIT Bhopal unless no better options remain
Always check latest cutoff trends and placement records before finalizing.
I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries, feel free to share your questions with us, and we will be happy to assist you.
Thank you, and I wish you all the best in your bright future.
