Hello lokesh,

Both the colleges you mentioned above are quite good, both of the colleges have quite reputation, both of the colleges have good placement records, so i think whicever you choose both the choices are good, also If u are concerned for the campus placement then be sure u will get a good placement if u are from any NITs or u belong to DTU, on a personal note i think ho for dtu, dtu ranks 34 by NIRF and nit jalandhar134 , also it is located in delhi heart of india so it has quite good exposure,Dtu also ranks far better than NIT jalandhar so if you have a choice go for DTU according to me, also if want NIT  tag, decent placements going for NIT jalandhar is not bad either.

Hope this helps

Hello aspirant!!
There is very less chances of getting seat in nsit and dtu as most of the seats are reserved for home state qouta but there are chances that u can easily get seat in hbtu in lower braches and in nit .
Hope it helps!!

It seems so tough to correctly answer this question without all the proper details. First of all, the most important question is whether you are from the Delhi quota or the outside delhi quota because unlike the NITs the cut-off vary so much. Again if you are a general candidate or belong to one of the reserved categories makes such a difference.

Kindly post all details before making a query.

I am sorry to state this but at this rank it is unrealistic to even think that you might get a seat in one of the premier colleges of India. I would strongly reccomend you to reconsider your options and make sure that you go to college only when you are well prepared and have an actual passion for engineering.

No at your rank it seems quite impossible to get a seat in even the lowest branches of NSIT or DTU.

For NITs also I wouldn't be quite sure, I mean maybe the lowest branch in NIT Srinagar or something like that but then again what can you expect t get at such a rank. All the best.

No, I am sorry to say that even with the EWS quota it is very difficult for you to get a seat in NSIT or DTU even if you belong to the Delhi home state quota. So don't get disheartened and keep looking for other colleges or consider taking taking a drop year.

Hello harsh sharma,

The rank you have secured in the jee -main is ok .

According to your choice you can full the JAC delhi but the accodamation of the college might be difficult with the rank you secured

It's not a issue you can try be brave you can do better

All the best

Hello Gaurav,

As of today, in IITs and NITs too, there is no provision of lateral entry by any means. The only way a candidate or a student can get admission into any of the IITs is by appearing in JEE Advanced. There is no other way to do the bachelor degree from IITs apart from that.

Ece, mechanical or even CSE but there is only a chance to get that top branches and uoyu need to wait for the other rounds of counselling. In the first counselling you may or may not get but will definitely get a good collge with your choice of the branch in other rounds of counselling.
