Hello harsh sharma,

The rank you have secured in the jee -main is ok .

According to your choice you can full the JAC delhi but the accodamation of the college might be difficult with the rank you secured

It's not a issue you can try be brave you can do better

All the best

Hello Gaurav,

As of today, in IITs and NITs too, there is no provision of lateral entry by any means. The only way a candidate or a student can get admission into any of the IITs is by appearing in JEE Advanced. There is no other way to do the bachelor degree from IITs apart from that.

Ece, mechanical or even CSE but there is only a chance to get that top branches and uoyu need to wait for the other rounds of counselling. In the first counselling you may or may not get but will definitely get a good collge with your choice of the branch in other rounds of counselling.

You have certainly the chances of getting admission into DTU with your rank of mains. Last year too students were able to seek admission through JAC. Your rank is fine and could obviously get a seat in this college. However choice of branch may be a factor of concern as it may take two to three rounds for confirming the branch.

Hi Aswini, congratulations you have got a good rank in your exam.
You can easily get a seat in DTU with this rank. Refer the following link to  check the cutoffs in previous years for M.Tech in DTU:

I don't know about NSIT but you can surely get into DTU and that too into one of the core branches like Electrical engineering, Mechanical engineering and Civil engineering. And also, you stand decent chance of getting Electronics and Communication engineering after the 6 rounds of counseling.

But, don't get you hopes too high for the first round as the cut off for first round is usually high. Expect the above mentioned branches to be allotted to you after 2–3 rounds of counseling.

Hello Arshiya,

Yes, according to last year's cutoffs, you can get admission into BBA programme in DTU. In the first round, the cutoff can be around 94-96 percentage. You can get a seat in the second /third round.

Best Wishes!
