WWith a score of 31.11 marks in the GATE Examination and 385 in the Civil branch, there is a good probability to get into NIT Kurukshetra.

The authorities have not declared any institution wise cut off for 2019 yet but looking at previous years data we can say  scoring 80-90 percentile would be enough to get a seat at Delhi technological University.

Your gate score is too low for NITs OR IITs even from OBC category.You need at least 500 score for NITs.Even your chance of getting DTU is less.To know which colleges other than NITs you may get visit below mention link:

First of all congrats for your good score of 140 not bad but still more please improve your score in april session and as of now jee mains is not yet released the offical cutoff so we should wait for exact cutoff till the april session is completed and also as your information is considered and defence quota i hope you will get the good NIT

DTU Lateral Entry B.Tech. is a degree program for the students who want to continue their technical expertise after completing Diploma programs. It offers diploma holder with an opportunity to pursue B.Tech degree in Engineering.

Candidates seeking admission in DTU B.Tech. Lateral degree program must have passed a 3 years, state diploma examination in any branch or any other examination recognized equivalent to by DTU, with a minimum aggregate of 60%.

The duration of the B.Tech. Lateral entry degree program will be of 3 years as the candidate will be admitted directly in the 2nd year of regular B.Tech. program.

The admission to B.Tech. (Lateral Entry) programme shall be done by DTU on the basis of marks secured by the candidate in the qualifying (diploma course) exam.

A big congratulations to you for scoring such a good percentile in JEE MAINS examination (held in the month of January) . Actually there is a 12th percentage criteria for gettng admission in any NIT :- For admissions to NITs/ IIITs/ GFTIs: Candidates need to have secured a minimum 75% marks in class XII or equivalent exam or be in the top 20 percentile in their class XII exam conducted by the respective board. For SC/ ST candidates, theeligibility criteria are to secure 65% marks in classXII or equivalent exam.

You need to mention your category in order to enable us to give suggestions. It is different for different categories. According to 2015 scorecard, normalized GATE marks went from 26 till 73 for general category students.
