You need to stay in the top 20 SC candidates throughout the nation then only you can get CSE at IIT BOMBAY.

Both the branches are equally good. It depends on you which branch you have interest in. Both the IITs are great. As far as placement is concerned, the highest package at IIT Roorkee till date is Rs.1.4 Crore and average package is Rs.11 LPA. The highest package at IIT Bombay till date is Rs.1.4 Crore and average package is Rs.13 LPA.

DCET is conducted for the admission in Diploma Lateral Entry in the state of Karnataka. IIT Bombay is in Maharashtra. You can not get a seat in IIT Bombay by appearing DCET.

It's hard to get in IIT Bombay but all other IIts you may get something. As girls quota is there this time you may get architecture course only. All other courses have below 3000 cutoffs last year.

College Infrastructure

The campus at IIT Bombay is huge and got modern labs and classrooms. Libraries are full of books and online stuff, high speed internet everywhere. Labs have good equipments for research in computer science. Its nice but sometimes crowded. Hostel rooms are okay, not fancy but clean. Overall, infrastructure help a lot in PhD work.

IIT Bombay offers a spacious campus with modern classrooms and advanced labs and the libraries were equipped however the workload can be intense and the campus can feel crowded during peak hours overall it supports academic excellence with a few challenges

College Infrastructure

My college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments from both academics and sports activities. It has Hostels for all the students from btech, mtech to phds so we don't have to look for the Pg outside the college.
