Hi Md. Zaid, well it is true that most top B schools consider 10,12 scores while selection but if you have 60+ you'll clear cutoffs and receive calls. There are weightages assigned to these scores but if you have excellent CAT and PI scores, you can always hope to outweigh your past acads. All the best. prepare well

No, North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology is not associted with IIT Bombay in terms of Training&Placements. All facilities are provided to the officials conducting campus interviews in the NERIST campus. Arrangements are also made for conducting off-campus interviews at Guwahati, Tezpur, Silchar, etc.

As you must be aware that IIT Bombay is one of the top colleges in India so it's cut off is also high. The cut off rank for different branches in IIT Bombay are:

*Aerospace Engineering- 1972

*Chemical Engineering- 1492

*Civil Engineering- 2283

*Computer Science and Engineering- 62

*Electrical Engineering- 266

*Engineering Physics- 1074

*Mechanical Engineering- 738

*Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science- 2917

Try to score above 200 in JEE Advanced.

You have not specified your category and branch for which you want cut-off.

For IIT Delhi cutoff range is between rank 66- 2691 

For IIT Bombay cutoff range is between 62- 2917

To get branch wise cutoff please mention the name of the branch.

In order to take admission in IIT Bombay you should have 75% marks in your boards exams or you should be in top 20 percentile.

For SC/ST you should have 65% marks.

JEE Advanced eligibility Criteria

IIT Bombay takes admission through JEE Advanced.

In order to appear for JEE Advanced you have to qualify for JEE Main exam first.
