How is Mtech CSE placements at IIT Ropar?Can i get get Selected My marks 31.67 , Score -374 Sc category. Rank 12000.

To get into the IIT Ropar Mtech CSE, a candidate of general category must have a minimum of 6 to 8000 rank. Even though you are from SC category your rank is of 12000 and it is too much difficult for you getting into this course. Is there automobile engineering available?

Hey Rana,
Basically you will not see automobile in the most of the college.

The automobile is the part of mechanical engineering

so if you do mechanical in iit roper then you can do job in automobile.

Yes PwD reservation is provided as following combination :

SC PwD
ST PwD
ObC PwD
OPEN PWD.

which is best for cse iit ropar, nsit or dtu

Hello

Given the option i would surely opt for NSIT cse as it's far better in terms of placement with regard to iit ropar and have perks of low competition in comparision to DTU but i does have a little less recognition due to dull administration

My rank is 1997 .which is better iit ghuwati EEE or iit ropar cse

IIT Guwahati any day a sits older and hasbetter brand reputation with amazing Placements for all cplleges.
Average package is 6lpa with 100% placements ann 35% core offers.

IIt ropar is fairly new and has average package of 4.5lpa for CSE with vwry few top offers made by Fortune 500 companies. Colleges lacks faculty and has average placements cell compares to IIT Guwahati.

Should I go for metallurgy in IIT Roorkee, mechanical in IIT ropar or mandi or BITS Pilani, CSE at good NIT or CSE at BITS Pilani Hyderabad?

Since you are getting all categories of colleges like IIT / NIT/ BITS. If you look inside into this you are getting more prefferable branches in NIT'S rather than IIT'S. Since you are getting Mechanical department at IIT Mandi as well in BITS also. So i think BITS at Pilani campus should be the most preferred choise because it has more quality standards comparing with IIT Mandi campus. If you are intrested in NIT'S there also you are getting CSE stream which is a best option. So i think overall you should start concentrating more on NIT'S and BITS rather than IIT'S because branch is also a important factor.

I am getting 4888 rank in JEE MAINS, 5280 in JEE ADV, and 358 marks in BITSAT. Which college and branch should I prefer?

Since you have a lots of sweet for your carrer. You have all around opportunities. Coming to the point of college. If you look your Mains rank you may able to get a good NIT'S but if you want the tag of IIT you can also get that one but in that point you don't have the option to choose core branches in top IIT'S eventhough you may get the core branches as well but not in the top IIT'S because branch is a major factor in comparison with college. Coming to the BITS point of view in that your score is well enough to take any branch at any campus and BITS have also the tendancy to compare with IIT'S. So overall i think you should go with BITS option.

Both the colleges are good. They have outstanding ratings. If you want to choose one you can go for IIT Ropar it has better placements.

College Infrastructure

IIT Ropar is one of the newest IITs in India. Infrastructure is very good and since it is new college is has all the modern state of art facilities available. Hostels are very good and are well equipped for comfortable lodging and boarding. Hostel rooms have water coolers installed.

My college is very good and good facilities.

College Infrastructure

All the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments are there in our collage. There are separated department building are there. Wifi facilities is all over in the campus. Smart boards are also present in all the classes. Living spaces are also clean.

The college has good infrastructure and has almost all the facilities and equipment. Nearly all places have wifi facilities and all the necessary things and they are well-maintained. almost every part of the college is clean.
