Hi,
No, Biology is not essential for B. Pharm in either of the two universities. Both require Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects while the third subject could be either mathematics or biology. Moreover, for NMIMS English is a compulsory subject as well.
NMIMS requires that the student pass with 45% + in PCM/PCB.
ICT requires that the student pass with 50% in PCM/PCB (for backward classes its 45%)

Hi Narayanamsujith,
Being a non-Maharashtrian, to enter into ICT you have to apply through all India quota in DTE Maharashtra. So you should score very good marks in both jee mains and boards. Jee advanced marks do not count here. You need to be in the topmost percentile of India as u are not from Maharashtra. There is no separate form for ICT. You have to apply through DTE Maharashtra.
It varies from state to state but for a really good college, you would be looking at a score above 110. That should guarentee a stable decent college. Also, do check out few national level examinations that private colleges roll out, such as ATIT for ICFAI Tech - these have calmer competition and it might be easier to hit the mark.
Best of luck.
Thanks for the question.
The demand for Information and Communication Technology professionals is expected to grow globally at the rate of 10% from 2015 to 2025.
These professionals will be engaged in designing hardware and software for specific applications as well as advising on improving the existing technology.
In Canada, there are reports of the shortage of information and communication technology professionals and by 2019 there is a requirement of 182,000 information and communication technology experts.
Thus, those aspiring to take up the course have a lot of opportunities not only in India but also abroad.
Owing to the emergence of more cloud computing, there will be an increase in the demand for those having expertise in software and hardware.
