So some basic information about the B.Com (//B.Com) LL.B Program at both these universities:

- Punjab University is a government whereas as LPU is private

- Fees for B.Com (//B.Com) LL.B

at PU - approx. 3.5 lacs

at LPU- approx. 7 lacs

- arguably, PU's degree value is more than LPU but LPU has better packages offered to graduates (being a private university with a larger network)

- Academics is good in both, PU is a bit better being an old and well established university with a better faculty, while LPU is better in terms of opportunities and corporate exposure.

Career opportunities after completion of B.Tech in EE or ECE are as follows:

• Electrical graduates are employed in Electricity Boards/Utility companies responsible for installation, maintenance, operation of power handling equipment and systems. Industries manufacturing large electrical machines and equipment employ engineers in design, production and testing.  For individuals dreaming of JTO(Junior Training Officer), DRDO(Defence Research and Development Organisation), ISRO(Indian Space Research Organisation) and GATE, EEE is not a good choice.
• In ECE, the scope to land into government jobs is great. An electronics engineer can find a job in Central Government, State Governments and their sponsored corporations, private industries dealing in manufacture, sales and services of electronics consumer goods and appliances. Additionally, electronics engineers are also absorbed into the broadcast industry, research establishments, and defence.

You can get admission in LPU using your NIOS senior secondary passing certificate and marksheet only. There is no need to issue a different equivalent senior secondary certificate. NIOS is accepted and recognised in every educational institutions in India. As far as certificates issued by NIOS is concerned, these are accepted for higher education, Govt. jobs and all other purposes. The class 10 th and 12 th class pass certificates of NIOS are valid and equivalent to the other boards- CBSE,ICSE and the state boards of India.

So, you do not need any other equivalent certificate.

LPU provides scholarship after 12th standard. As every scholarship has some criteria like wise this scholarship has the eligibility criteria. The eligibility is you have to score 90% in 12th so that you will get full scholarship also.
