I got 50% in ISC board exam and 56 in JEE main 2018 can I get admission in sastra university's

Hi dear,
To get admission in sastra university ,you need to fill the application form. The admission in the university will be based on the merit score obtained by a student.The application form will be considered under 2 streams.

Under stream 1 : JEE mains scores and +2 marks will be considered for 70% seats.
Under Stream 2 : +2 marks will be considered for 30% seats.

Stream 1 admission :

Applicants under stream 1 will be admitted to 70% of the seats based on JEE (Main) 2018 scores and normalized +2 marks. The weightage for JEE Main scores and +2 marks will be 25% & 75% respectively. The aggregate JEE Main score and normalized +2 aggregate will be taken together as per the weightage and applicants will be ranked based on the resultant combined score.

Stream 2 admission :

Applicants under Stream 2 will be admitted based on their normalized aggregate +2 or its equivalent marks. This is for 30% of the total seats. To bring all candidates from different examining authorities/ boards in to the same scale of comparison and to create a list in the order of merit, the +2 or its equivalent aggregate marks will be normalized.

You should try for Admission in Stream 1.

I got 85 marks in jee main,in+2. 951 marks with 95.1%..can I get admission in sastra. Cse,ece it branches..

My Score in +2 is 950 and in her mains I got 60 marks Can I get seat I'm Sastra university Mech... Either in tanjavur or kumbhakonam branch

Hey. Sastra University admissions isn't based on cut off marks. It is based on your overall score in 12th.You haven't specified your board. So I assume that you are from TNHSC board with marks 1130> Tough Chance for the top courses 1145 - You may find difficult to get the course of your choice so you need to depend on luck. 1165 + - Any course is possible. actually i got 966 marks in 10+2 class and i got 81 marks in jee mains exam with 93563 rank , so could i get seat in sastra university.

Nope. You need your JEE marks also. Sastra considers the JEE marks + 12th marks.

Yes dear,
There are 70% seats are available for jee mains candidates.....only 30 % seats are left for level of 10+2 level by there good academic history....

i got a 969 marks in IPE and 87 marks in JEEmains. can i get CSE group in sastra university.

thank you for connecting to careers360.com . the IPE marks are not valid in getting a seat in any instituion on basis of JEE MAINS . it is not sure that you will get a seat unde CSE branch in shastra university because the institutions is not releasing the cutoffs . all the best for your future .

Well-maintained, large campus with modern classrooms, AC seminar halls, Excellent library. Good wi-fi, hostel, and canteen Facilities, professional environment with strong infrastructure supporting management education.

Overall good if you have interest you will suceed

I really like this colleges based on placement based on my optionion you can join our college. Little bit strict but that’s Okk. In our college infrastructure is better I’m currently doing my Bsc degree in sastra university

College Infrastructure

My experience with this college is a mixed one ..The infrastructure of the university is good and is the most remarkable for the computing programs The research facilities here are top notch with fully equipped Labs and great professors (not all but a few ones are very experienced and influential in their field..other buildings are average and there is a wifi facility available 24/7 for laptops..no cycle is available ..The food is good..but everything has its bad days too..the form is quite clean
