If you are asking for the academic year, then I am sorry to say this but the application is closed for SASTRA University. The application was available from April 2nd and the last date was July 31st.Counselling started at 5th of August and the last date for counselling was August 27th. August 31st to September 5th online orientation takes place. But if you are asking for 2021 the application will be out by April 2nd week and will closed by July last week. Sastra University Kumbakonam have very good placement record so far. It is a three years course. As it is a deemed university they will not ask for high cutoff. 50% cut off is required. Application Form for admission in B.Tech at SASTRA University is released for the academic year 2019-20 from April 12, 2019, at www.sastra.edu. Candidates need to apply online to fill the offline application form by visiting the official website,Students applying for the SASTRA University will be asked to enter their marks of their board exams and their JEE Main Score( this is optional).

Sastra University offers admissions under the two clause70% of the seats will be filled through first clause on the basis of JEE Main scores and scores or 10+2 or equivalent examination.25% weightage will be given to JEE Main scores and 75% to the marks scored in 10+2 or equivalent examination.The combined scores will be used to prepare the Rank list.

Only 30% of the seats will be filled by clause 2,Only 10+2 or equivalent scores will be considered while preparing the Rank list.Candidates can apply through both ways as mentioned above.

In case, a candidate has not appeared for JEE Main 2020 Exam and applied for stream 1, The weightage score for 25% will be considered 0 but the qualifying exam aggregate scores will be given 75% as a combined score.

In the case of  second clause the qualifying exam score will be given 100% weightage.

Basically the tech 2020 admission is held on basis of sastra university,  tamilnadu.

There are 2 set of examination. One is baded on jee main and another us based on 12 boards.

Yes you can join Shanmugha Arts Science Technology Research and Academy, Thanjavur without any entrance exam. Shanmugha Arts Science Technology Research and Academy, Thanjavur considers 10+2 level scores for the admissions. But only 30% seats are available through 10+2 score Only 10+2 (or equivalent) normalized scores will be considered while preparing the rank list. You cannot take admission now because the last date to fill and submit application form was July 31st 2020. So now you need to wait for next year as the rank list is also declared and the counselling procedure will not begin until further notice.

For admission into sastra university 2 things are important-

1)Your jee mains ranking as 70 % of seats are for jee mains students.
2) your class 12 percentage because 30% of seats are reserved for these people.

The remaining 30% of the seats will be filled through stream 2. Only 10+2 (or equivalent) normalized scores will be considered while preparing the rank list of stream 2. All the eligible candidates can now download the Sastra B.Tech application form 2020 in online mode only till June 27 (5 PM).

It depends on what all basis do you judge a university, and what all factors do you consider while deciding between universities.According to the placements percentage both college stand at almost the same position.

For the infrastructure and environment wise you need to personally visit the campus and decide by yourself as different people have different likes and dislikes. Both are good in every thing .
