The admission for BTech CSE in Sastra University, Thanjavur is granted on the basis of the applicant's rank in JEE Main. The eligibility criteria requires that a candidate finish their 10+2 from a recognized board in the science stream with minimum aggregate score of 60%.
The Fee for the first year is 1.47L INR and for the remaining 3 years, it's 1.31L INR for a total of 5.4L INR.
The placement record of the Institute has been really good in the past. The top recruiters include PayPal, Oracle, Amazon, IBM, Hindustan Unilever etc. The highest package can go upto 20L INR p.a. while the median package is around 7L INR p.a.

The cut offs will be different for the different courses of the same university. Whereas when it comes to your boards score, it wouldnt really affect your placement. You just have to have more than 75 percentage on your 12th grade.

Their is no special cut off for any course at sastra, it depends on the availability of seats. It varies every year. However, on an average, it can predicted that for CSE branch at SASTRA university, your rank should be within 500 in stream 1. The cut off changes every year, but a rank of 500 will keep it safe for you. All your board exam percentage contribute greatly to your selection here, especially in stream 2.

see sastra university offers 70% of btech seat admission based on jee main and 12th score, and 30% of seats are filled based on only intermediate score, now cutoff score changes every year and it depends on certain facts like category of candidates, number of participants, seat matrix etc, if your 12th score is more than 99% you have decent chances for sastra university. follow the below link to know more information,

Kindly specify the course you are looking for in this university.For admission, you must download the application form from the university website, fill and submit it in given time. The admission to all the programmes at SASTRA is based on merit. You must have a qualifying degree.B.Tech recipients with a minimum aggregate of 60% in science, mathematics and computer science are eligible for applying for admission. Depending upon your stream, you are shortlisted as per their JEE or CLAT. While GATE qualified candidates are eligible for MTech at SASTRA. For MBA, the applicants must have a valid score in CAT, XAT and other required exams.The applicants of B.Optom programmes,must have a valid NEET score along with a normalized aggregate in grade 12. Further, M.Optom admissions are awarded based on the scores of the recipients in the entrance test and the interview conducted by the institution.

I really like this colleges based on placement based on my optionion you can join our college. Little bit strict but that’s Okk. In our college infrastructure is better I’m currently doing my Bsc degree in sastra university
My experience with this college is a mixed one ..The infrastructure of the university is good and is the most remarkable for the computing programs The research facilities here are top notch with fully equipped Labs and great professors (not all but a few ones are very experienced and influential in their field..other buildings are average and there is a wifi facility available 24/7 for laptops..no cycle is available ..The food is good..but everything has its bad days too..the form is quite clean
