Hello Shyeya,
The Electronics and computer engineering at Thapar University is a very good option as Thapar is a very know college in india. Now talking about the placement, 75% students get placed in the core like IT and consulting. The average placement for the year 2017 was 6 lakhs with 70% placement.
I recommend you to join ECE in Thapar and try to keep your CGPA above 8.4 and you will surely get placed in some good companies.
I hope you will find my answer helpful.
All the best.

Hi Kuntal,
Congratulations,for your result
According to my opinion if you like computer science then you should definitely take cs in kiit else you should go for mechanical or chemical in thapar university.
Cs has a better job security than mechanical or chemical however placements totally depends on your own skills and quality. But it cs in kiit would be a better option according to me.
Thank you
Yours faithfully

I think you missed for online counselling. You can fill the form for in person counselling which includes mode 1 and mode 2
Many facilities provide by college lab is very good and working well, classroom is very good and library is also provided by college and you can take any book in your course. Many facilities provided in our hostel food is average and canteen is also available in our hostel medical facilities is also available in our hostel.
The coursework is decent, they try to make them familiar with each technology one by one. Classrooms are good, and the campus is big. Hostels are also good but overpriced. The food in the mess is not very good and is also overpriced.
Infrastructure of the college is just okay. Buildings look very old and don’t justify the fees charged. The Labs for our branch are the worst. Wi-Fi connectivity is good overall. The college library is decent. The classrooms are very nice up to 2nd year but after that we will get a normal school type classroom.
