Dear Aspirant!! Congratulations on your score but I would like to inform you that they'll also consider your JEE Main score for admission as the mininum criteria is as follows: Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with at least 60% marks (for SC/ST candidates 55%) in aggregate of three subjects- Mathematics, Physics and any one subject out of Biology, Chemistry Technical Vocational subject and Biotechnology and then candidates will have to secure at least 20% aggregate marks (for SC/ST candidates 15%) in JEE Main 2018. Or candidates will have to obtain at least 15% aggregate marks (10% for SC/ST candidates) in JEE Main 2019. If you satisfy the above criteria you stand a chance to get into TIET depending on standard of other students.
Hope this helps.
Dear aspirant
Placement is quite good in BIT Patna. the average package is 4-5 lakhs per annum. The lowest provide is up to 3.30 lakhs per annum. THE HIGHEST PACKAGE IS 12-14 LAKH PER ANNUM. You are if really good in coding c and c++ branches that don't matter you will necessarily be placed.
And in case of Thapar University last year the placement was 99% and the average package was around 6.7 lakhs. To my knowledge highest package was of 42 lpa. Many famous companies come during placements and nearly every student gets a job. This same can be said about other branches.
Thankyou
Hi there,
Hope you are doing well.
If your sole target is to get a good placement for the college, then you should prefer EIC over Chemical since it is one of electrical Engineering's core branch and many big companies hire from EIC.
On the other hand, if you have a research-oriented view, then you should go for Chemical since it has better options in research and for further studies.
Whereas Mechatronics is a branch which has both the scopes, placement as well as research.
But the base of Mechatronics is not so strong in India and for a nice package you would have to complete your MTech or MS.
BTech in Mechatronics alone won't be able to get you a very good package.
Hope it would help
Thank You

Many facilities provide by college lab is very good and working well, classroom is very good and library is also provided by college and you can take any book in your course. Many facilities provided in our hostel food is average and canteen is also available in our hostel medical facilities is also available in our hostel.
The coursework is decent, they try to make them familiar with each technology one by one. Classrooms are good, and the campus is big. Hostels are also good but overpriced. The food in the mess is not very good and is also overpriced.
Infrastructure of the college is just okay. Buildings look very old and don’t justify the fees charged. The Labs for our branch are the worst. Wi-Fi connectivity is good overall. The college library is decent. The classrooms are very nice up to 2nd year but after that we will get a normal school type classroom.
