With this rank, you can apply for many good NITs. But if you are stern about Computer Science Engineering, then you should pay the amount and apply for JEE Advanced .

Take admission in Kiit because it have good all india rank in engineering . good all india rank says that its havw good teaher,good placement.If you go for good campus or large campus then go for lpu.

Congratulations for your marks.

Yes definitely you can apply and get seat in thapar. If you are from Punjab then no need to take tension you are in.

If you are outside Punjab category than also there is high chance that you will get seat there. There is just one criteria that you must have 45 marks in jee mains to be eligible for thapar counseling and then your boards marks will be taken into consideration.

Keep other options also ready as your backup as  the no of candidates applying for this college increases every year and admission on boards basis have limited seats only.

Thapar has many counselling phases so you can get into any branch.No need to worry because it has vast batch size.

You have not mentioned which categor you belong to. However the closing ranks for the previous years in CSE for General category is around 40,000 for home state (punjab) quota and around 20,000 for the candidates belonging to other states.
