Hello sir, I got 95.25% in class 12 board and 73 percentile in jee, now what are the best options for engineering career .

Your 10+2 boards marks is really impressive. But with 73 percentile in JEE mains, you cannot take admission in any good colleges through JoSAA counselling. To predict your college, you can use https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor
Dropping a year should be your last option with the least priority. Before that try your best to crack other exams and take admission in other colleges. If your only wish is to go to thapar university, then you can drop this year and prepare for JEE main again as Thapar accepts only the marks of JEE main.

as per Thapar University website it says no management quota. or option 2 available. please advise

Hi,
Look every private college has atleast 10% seats under Management. But they can't tell you that in public or else many of colleges also mentioned in their website. However, you should contact the college authority for details. Only they can help about the management quota in details. But one thing, donation may be high. Thapar is one of the top private colleges, so demand is on high.

Anyway, you firstly contact the college authority then see.

What is the nirf rank of tiet in dual degree computer engineering??

Each course is not given a different NIRF Rank, the university overall receives a rank based on all the course and other criteria. Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology is ranked 23rd amongst top engineering institutions and 27th amongst top Universities of the country.

Which college is the best for electrical and electronics engineering, VIT Chennai or Thapar University?

Thapar Institute Pros-

The infrastructure is really good. We get Wifi at around 4Mbps, Sports facilities are good, and the accomodation is really good.
There are a lot of a research opportunitites that you can pursue without a lot of questions.
The college is only 5 days a week
Patiala is a nice city. It has all the basic amenities but is not fancy as fuck.
A lot of cultural events and socities you can be a part of.
The campus is really good.
The placements are really good. The highest package was 28.5 Lpa.

Hello cherry, both thr colleges are good for doing mba course but as i compared both colleges , Thapar University is one of the best colleges for doing mba more than chitkara university as the placements and infrastructure and also the faculty for Thapar University is the best ..

College Infrastructure

Many facilities provide by college lab is very good and working well, classroom is very good and library is also provided by college and you can take any book in your course. Many facilities provided in our hostel food is average and canteen is also available in our hostel medical facilities is also available in our hostel.

Wrong placement stats given on website.

College Infrastructure

The coursework is decent, they try to make them familiar with each technology one by one. Classrooms are good, and the campus is big. Hostels are also good but overpriced. The food in the mess is not very good and is also overpriced.

Well maintained infrastructure and faculty.

College Infrastructure

Infrastructure of the college is just okay. Buildings look very old and don’t justify the fees charged. The Labs for our branch are the worst. Wi-Fi connectivity is good overall. The college library is decent. The classrooms are very nice up to 2nd year but after that we will get a normal school type classroom.
