For open category, cutoff is even low from home state general category. You have secured good percentile but counseling is done on the basis of rank. There will be multiple students who have same percentile but they can't have same rank. It will be priority in such case and rank list will be given.
So if you are looking for CSE then it might be difficult. You can opt for core branch subjects or non technical branch then there is a possibility to get an admission.
However, current year may not follow previous years trend so check cutoff for SU and apply for college and branch options. Check for information technology branch. It is same as CSE and it will have low cutoff range as compare to CSE. You can apply for IT.

Sastra University's online application form was made available from april 2nd 2020 and the last date to submit the same was june 27th till 5 PM, so if you have not filled it till now than You might not be able to fill it any further as the deadline has been crossed.

another is Srinivasa Ramanujan Centre Sastra University Kumbakonam which is collaborated with sastra university. however since the main campus is old and have the excellent infrastructure, experienced faculty, but the placement is same in both of the campus , also src students may participate in main campus placement. however sastra Tirumalaisamudram campus is best choice.

the placements of sastra university for the course computer science engineering is so upto mark, around 80 percent of the students use to get placed , the highest package they offered is of 20LPA while average and lowest package range in between 3-6 LPA , the top recruiting companies are accenture,wipro,TCS, PAYPAL, IBM corporation , johnson and johnson etc.
