BTech in bioinformatics is a foreign long technology course. Costs are  about 6 lakh.

BTech admission is divided into two. There are about 30% seats admission based on 10+2 merits marks. And another 70% seats are based on mains score and 10 + 2 marks.

stream 1- jee main+ hs score both are evaluated, 75% weightage is given to 12th score while 25% weightage is given to jee main score. 70% seats of btech course is fills by stream1 process. now jee main april session exam has yet to held, and after the results declared there will be a new scoring rank and percentile would come. however at this score you have decent chances for electrical or mechanical engineering branch of sastra university.

With this rank, you have fair chances of getting CSE in  SASTRA University through Stream 1. But you can try Stream 2, since you have good marks.

What you have achieved is really great but there is no such scholarship for the students availing such good marks in boards, but there is bachelors scholarship in the university in which you will be give a 1/3rd of the fee reduction if you stand in the top 3 % of the university. So if you keep the same performance in the bachelors degree you surely will be able to avail this scholarships from the 2nd semester itself.

see cutoff score changes  every year and it depends on certain factors like number of participants, questions difficulty level, seat matrix etc. now sastra admission process of stream  1 mode is based on 12th score and jee main score, by using stream 1 mode 70% seats are filled, in stream 1 mode 75% weightage is given to 12th score and 25% weightage is given to jee main score, however till now jee main april session exam is yet to held, once thee xam has done, if number of participants increased this time it would have effect on your current score. however at this score you have fair chances. so lets see whats come around.

The B tech admission seats are filled about 80% with JEE main and 20% with board marks.So you should have a very high marks to get admission in bioinformatics admission here.i think that your marks are enough to get a chance.

as per the previous years admission process, sastra  university provides b.tech admission based on  two streams,

stream 1 -jee  main score + 12th score -70% seats fills by stream 1 process.

stream 2- basis on only 12th score-30% seats fills by stream 2 process.

tnea counselling is conducts by anna university, and colleges affiliated by anna university participated in tnea counselling.

since sastra is a deemed to be university, it has its own counselling and admission process. there is less chances for sastra to come under tnea counselling.
