hello javvaji bharath
yes it is possible to get admission through jee mains and sastra university has its own procedure through stream 1 and stream 2.the university calculates like this (0.25*mains score)+(0.75*12th score)=will be sastra rank and based on this you will be given admission.
Hello Aspirant,
Congrats for your GPA and percentile. There is a high chance for you to get CSE at SASTRA.In SASTRA the admission is based on both JEE main percentile and 12th board marks. The weightage given to JEE main is 25% and the remaining 75% will be given to your 12th percentage. The SASTRA rank will be calculated((JEE main percentile*0.25)+(12th percentage *0.75)) and based on that you will be called for counselling on merit basis.
Do find the application form in the link below and to know more details regarding the admission procedure refer page 9 in the form.

Hello,
Stream 1 counselling will be held during the 2nd or 3rd week of June 2019. It will be based on the rank allocated on the basis of JEE Mains score and normalised intermediate marks.
Stream 2 counselling will also be held at the same time and will be based on intermediate marks only.
Further rounds of counselling will be held if there are vacant seats available and their respective dates will be displayed on their website.

Hello Akshay!
It is tough to get seat in Sastra University with your mentioned percentile as the cutoff stays very high almost above the cutoff of JEE MAINS that is 2 lakhs rank. You must look for colleges in special round counselling(if conducted).
Hope that helps!
My experience with this college is a mixed one ..The infrastructure of the university is good and is the most remarkable for the computing programs The research facilities here are top notch with fully equipped Labs and great professors (not all but a few ones are very experienced and influential in their field..other buildings are average and there is a wifi facility available 24/7 for laptops..no cycle is available ..The food is good..but everything has its bad days too..the form is quite clean
laboratories for bio tech and other related departments are very good and high tech here. Hostels are non ac full vegetarian, managable. wifi is 24/7 available. the environment is good for studying here.
It's average college, having wifi facilities like high tech laboratory. Bajaj and 5 g labs are there. Each building of department have different own laboratories. Hostels are non ac, but can manage. Wifi is 24/7.
