Hello Baddi
First of all there is no specific cut-off marks for getting admission in sastra university. Your 12th marks and jee marks will decide your seat in sastra university. The merit is made based on 25% weightage of JEEmarks And 75% of your class 12th marks. So as you have calculated then your marks are good and their are some chances that you get stream 1 in good branches.

Make sure you check the eligibility criteria for the university's admission. The 70% of the total seats are filled on the basis on Jee Mains. The other 30% are filled on the basis of 10+2 performance from a recognised board. Hello Nitin Yadav,
I'm sorry to inform you that you may not stand a chance to get seat in cse or it in thanjavur campus of sastta university. If you are from Tamil Nadu you may get seat in SASTRA but may not get CSE Or IT.But don't stop, put an application to both Thanjavur and Kumbakonam campus and wait for results and counselling letter.
Thank you
Hello Dhanush
SASTRA university has a separate procedure through stream 1 and stream 2 .
Stream 1 .
70 percent seats of every branch are filled through stream 1 based on 12 th percentage ( 75 percent after normalisation ) + JEE mains score ( 25 percent )
For example
12 th percentage - 88 (CBSE) and JEE mains score is 80 .
Normalised percentage of board would be as follows
88 * 100/98.6 = 89.25
( Assuming percentage of topper is 98.6 )
Now 89.25 * 0.75 + 80 * 0.25 = 86.94
This is your final score . AIR (SASTRA) is prepared based on this final score . There is a chance AIR up to 4000 .
If someone is a topper of board exam and his JEE mains score is 40 then final score would be 85 and AIR (SASTRA) would be above 5000 . It proves that there is no chance for JEE mains score below 40 in stream 1 .
Stream 2 .
30 percent seats of every branch are filled through stream 2 based on 12 th percentage .
There is very less chance for percentage below 95 in stream 2 .
Well-maintained, large campus with modern classrooms, AC seminar halls, Excellent library. Good wi-fi, hostel, and canteen Facilities, professional environment with strong infrastructure supporting management education.
I really like this colleges based on placement based on my optionion you can join our college. Little bit strict but that’s Okk. In our college infrastructure is better I’m currently doing my Bsc degree in sastra university
My experience with this college is a mixed one ..The infrastructure of the university is good and is the most remarkable for the computing programs The research facilities here are top notch with fully equipped Labs and great professors (not all but a few ones are very experienced and influential in their field..other buildings are average and there is a wifi facility available 24/7 for laptops..no cycle is available ..The food is good..but everything has its bad days too..the form is quite clean
