Dear Aspirant,

To get admission into Sastra University you have to at least score 90 percentile to 95 percentile as these the minimum range and as you have scored 89 percentile there is very less chance irrespective of what you have scored in 10th and 10+2. Your admission will be based on the score you get in JEE Mains.

Good luck

Hi Hemanth,

I am very sorry to say that you may not get a seat at Sastra University with these marks.

The admission is based on two ways:
Stream 1: JEE main marks + board exam marks (70% seats)
Stream 2: only board exam marks (30% seats)
There is no specific cut off to get a seat in SASTRA University. It depends on the student who scores the highest marks. If you have appeared for JEE Mains then apply under stream 1. If your board exam marks is 90-95% and JEE main marks is between 50-120 then you can get admission under stream 1.
For stream 2, your board exam marks should be at least above 85-90% to get a seat and if it is more than 95% you can get a good course.

Hope it was useful to you and your query was resolved.

Feel free to contact us for any queries.

All the best :)

Hey Mythirayan!

No. It's very difficult to get into SASTRA with that score. If you are from Thanjavur or Trichy you may have chance of getting some other low branches but you won't be getting CSE or ECE.

If you are from Thanjavur or Trichy  You can get into SASTRA by taking other branches and then if you can score above 8.5 /10 cgpa in first year(all branches study same content in first year),you can get into CSE.

Good luck!

College Infrastructure

My experience with this college is a mixed one ..The infrastructure of the university is good and is the most remarkable for the computing programs The research facilities here are top notch with fully equipped Labs and great professors (not all but a few ones are very experienced and influential in their field..other buildings are average and there is a wifi facility available 24/7 for laptops..no cycle is available ..The food is good..but everything has its bad days too..the form is quite clean

it is good feel to write review for helping juniors
