NIT Jalandhar Reviews on Infrastructure, Campus, Placement, Facilities & Faculty

As it is a NIT so the tag NIT itself explains this college. But for my review is quite good .Here infrastructure is good and a lot of infrastructure project are going on for the betterment of the college infrastructure . The college campus looks so soothing as during winters a lots of rose can be seen in the college premises. The college campus itself has its wi-fi all around the campus. Various laboratories and robotics labs are there but some of the machines are outdated but still works. The hostels are quite good and have a good view from your balcony .

All the teachers are good in their field and have a good knowledge of the subject and quality of teaching are also good. They themselves tries to be updated in their field and tries to motivate for the placement ready.

My college has a very good quality of placement as for the previous year the max package from my college was 1.5cr. According to my department ,the placement ratio is quite good and for girls the placement percent is about 93%.But this year due to recession placements are low as compared to previous year. The average package of the college is about 20 lpa and for my branch the average package is 8.5 lpa.

Taking about the cost of the course its about 7.5 - 8 lakh for the whole course excluding your hostel and mess charges. Considering the money's worth I definitely getting a lot of knowledge and as well as placement .

About campus life - The best part of the campus life was college clubs in which you can meet new peoples, making friends making good bonds with the seniors and enjoy with them. Talking about the fest's there are two college fest in the college one is Utkansh i.e the cultural fest of the college and second one is Techniti i.e the technical fest of the college except these there are various sport's fest.

College infrastructure is good. Campus spread over a area of around 154 acres though a large amount of area is given to faculty members. Campus is green and colourful. All the necessary labs are here . And most of the labs are AC except those hardware workshops and thermal labs. Hostels are good but small sized rooms. Wifi speed at hostels is around 25MBps. Lift is there in the Mega boys hostels. 3 canteens, 2 juice shops, grocery shops and even Nescafe outlet are here too. Mess food is edible and tasty on some days.

Academics are good here. The curriculum is not that tough. As I'm persuing B.tech in Industrial and Production Engineering, the course is not tough. Even the teachers are friendly. Not much exams ( Mid sem and End sems only) but class quizzes there. Management and Data analysis opportunities are there after doing this course.

Placements are also decent. Even as the recession is going on, students here are getting the jobs in both core and non core fields. Avg. salary is around 13-14 Lpa for the entire courses. As for my course Industrial and Production Engineering the Avg salary is around 8-9 lpa, both core and non core jobs. Companies like Accenture, Nvidia, Amazon , Flipkart etc. Also visit here.

The college is totally value for money. It costs around 9-10lacs to complete the entire course in 4 years. Even the fee remission is also given to economically weaker sections students. And as the college provide a decent Placement, it is totally value for money.

Campus life is good. No hostel timings restrictions. 3 day long Cultural fest Utkansh happens here. All the clubs are here including dancing, music, photography,acting etc. And all the clubs are active too.

College infrastructure about Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar University is well said because the interaction is very good and big and they have a very specious infrastructure and big classrooms Hindi classrooms they have a AC is and smart boards also and some of the classrooms are having a white board also.

Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar University have good in academics they a good collection of books in a library, but they have old syllabus not a updated syllabus so this is a lack point of this university although I like the teaching style of the professors.

This university not provide the off campus placement drive so I am not satisfied with this point, this university have to conduct a off campus placement drive for stand out this university overall this university not providing a placement drive.

Infrastructure of our college is very good. Facilities like sports, gym, medical facilities, Classrooms, wifi, labs, research labs etc are provided here to us. Other facilities like playground , auditorium also college is located at a very beautiful location. Hostels facilities are also available for us here.

Faculty is very helpful , qualified and knowlegeable , teaching quality is also very good. Teachers teaches with a method of PPTs and presentations. But there is no industry exposure for Mtech students. The course curriculum is also well designed as per the requirements.

NITs have very good placement records. NIT Jalandhar has good placement opportunities for M.tech students also. Maximum package that students got from here was 25LPA. And average package that students got was around 7LPA. There is a separate training and placement cell Office in our college for guiding us regarding placement drives that are going to happen in our college.

Yes , it is worth value for money if you are completing your degree from NIT it will always be worth the value. And I'm totally getting my money's worth from this college.

Campus life is very interesting and enjoyable , many fests organized here for personality development of all students who are interested in other extra curricular activities.

As I'm currently pursuing my MBA from NIT Jalandhar so I can confidently say that our college has one of the best infrastructure . Modern classrooms with smart screens and projectors, Ac facilities are provided in all classrooms, for safety purpose of students security gaurds all over the campus and CCTV cameras everywhere is installed. Wi fi services are also provided for the students. Everything is well maintained there.

Teachers of our college are very supportive and every teacher is well qualified and holds P.hd. degrees . They are always available for resolving the problems of every student. The quality of teaching is very good here. All teachers has practical approach and unique ways of teaching.

NIT Jalandhar has good placement records. Many highly reputed companies visits our campus for placing the students. And students has gotten placed in many good companies with nice packages. On an average the packages of department that students got was between 4LPA to 8LPA.

It is worth value for money if you are getting your college done from a NIT with so many opportunities and facilities.

Campus of my college is very huge and beautiful. Sports complex, auditorium , grounds, medical facilities, cafes, etc everything is been provided here for students.

College has a green and pretty environment. And includes all the facilities and equipments for each student. Classrooms and Library are big and good also library is air conditioned. Different sports facilities are also provided for the students.

I'm pursuing my M.Tech. in Textile department from this college and I would say that the quality of teaching in this college is very good . Many different departments are here in the college with different specialization and students can opt for their favouraite department according to their interest.

NIT Jalandhar has a very good placement records. Many good companies come to the campus and provide good packages foe the students also internships are provided to the students. College also helps very much regarding placements and keep guiding the students.

College infrastructure is quite amazing when compared to NIT's and also better than new IIT's. New buildings are in making which will be new lecture theatre and library. In NIT Jalandhar,there is unique way of making building, you will see it after coming here.

I am studying industrial and production engineering and the teachers here are well qualified. They hold lot of research papers . Some of our teachers are the directors of other NITs. The teaching assistant also hold good knowledge.

Placement scenario is quite impressive here in NIT Jalandhar. The placement percentage for btech is 90% almost. Many MNC's visit us , take placement talks and then contact TPO'S for placement. Overall it is quite nice.

Return on investment is quite good. Fees depends upon the income scale, if your family income is less than 1 lac, you will get free education. Also the mess is also nice. The mess committee holds it very well.

The college campus is full of greenery and beautiful flowers and a variety of birds can be seen here. Certain playing grounds for football, cricket, volleyball, badminton and basketball are there. Security guards are present at each step in the campus.

Great infrastructure with one of the best leading euipments available for the students to experience and learn from with the best faculty onboard. Infra here was one of the leading and hence was upgrading everyday.

Highly experienced faculty and curriculum. Academics part of this institute really stands apart from the crowd here academics worth of every single Penny you spent for and that too with great infrastructure

Great opportunities founded here as of now this institute has been best in terms of placements and curriculum with one of the leading infra I cant even think of, this institute is providing great opportunities

THE KIND OF FACILITY TEHY ARE PROVIDING IS EXCELLENT. THEY HAVE EQUIPMENT FOR THE EXPERIMENT WITH LATEST TECHNOLOGY. CLASSROOMS ARE FULLY FURNISHED AND HAVE PROPER VENTILATION FACILITIES AVAILABLE. LIVING IN A HOSTEL IS CHALLENGING

I AM PURSUING MY CAREER IN BECHOLOAR IN TECHNOLOGY. FURTHER I AM DOING INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY. THE WAY OF TEACHING IS SUPERB, AS THEY ARE PROVIND EXCELLENT TECHNOLOGY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE. CURRIUM IS UP TO THE DATE. YES

QUALITY OF PLACEMENT IS GOOD. THERE ARE MANY MULTINATIONAL COMPANY VIST WITH MAXIMUM JOB LETTERS. THE AVERAGE PLACEMENT IS 89 PERCENT. HIGHGEST PACKAGE IS 30 LACKS. THE AVERAGE SALARY OFFERED IS 50 THOUSAND PER MONTH.

THE AMOUNT OF COURSE IS OFFERED FOR 6 LACKS. GETTING ADMITTED TO THIS COLLEGE WAS DIFFICULT AS I HAVE TAKEN AN ENTRANCE TEST FOR TAKING ADMISSION IN THIS COLLEGE. EXPENDITURE IN THI COLLEGE IS WORTH IT.

THE COLLEGE CAMPUS IS PRETTY GOOD AS I AM GETTING NEW EXPERIENCE OF THE LIFE. HOSTEL LIFE IS MESMERISING HOSTEL HAS FULL FACILITIES. FOOD IS GOOD AND CHANGES CAN BE DONE ACCORDING TO THE NEEDS. TEACHERS ARE VERY SUPPORTIVE.

I WOULD LIKE TO ADD THE THING THAT THEY THINK THEY ARE PROVIDING GOOD TECHNOLOGICAL SKILLS WHICH IS HELPFUL IN GETTING JOBS. THEY ARE THE GIVING THEIR BEST KNOWLEDGE. OF THEIR OWN. THIS IS THE BEST ONE I AM GETTING

College infrastructure are good...... hygiene all facilities are good..... living space was very clean and hygienic......they are all used and well maintained.......wifi , smart boards are very good....

I am standing in camical engineering .... tha quality of teaching was awesome. .. teachers behaviour are very good polite and well mannered...In many ways, I have been preparing for it my entire life......

Tha quality of placement has been good... College provide us intership for better future and experience. We have faculties ,who are very educated , knowledge and experienced. They are very helpful and understandble well communication...

compared to other colleges, my college fees were very less.....Reading here helped me a lot...I completed my studies at very little expense.....i feel that the quality, quantity, or overall experience justifies the cost and leaves you feeling content or satisfied with the value received...

The best thing about my college is that every day in the college is a new learning day...College life exposes us to new experiences and things that we were not familiar with earlier....all students , teachers and support staff are good.. location was good. I feel very safe in my college .
