If you ask me about the bare minimum, I'll say yes, the college has all of that. Be it classrooms, labs, libraries, hostels or even a gym. I'll like to add this though that don't expect anything over the top. The maintenance is pretty much shitty and despite its large area, most of the college is land that could be developed and worked upon.
The curriculum is like any other NIT or IIT out there. Basic and to the point. With that being said, I could rant for hours how engineering is meaningless and it's high time Indians start considering other professions seriously but let's leave that for some other time :)
I'll speak strictly with respect to my branch - CSE. If I don't consider this year, cause things went downhill for almost everyone due to the COVID situation, I can say that placements are definitely a strong suit of MANIT, Bhopal. We do have companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Flipkart, Goldman Sachs, JPMC come in every year to recruit students for jobs as well as internships. And this pretty much trumps all other negatives this college has.
The college being a government organization isn't quite expensive. It does offer concession for the underprivileged as well so I'll say it does provide its value for money. And at the end of the day, you graduate from here with an NIT tag in your bag which is always a plus point.
The campus life. First things first, if you have high expectations about the crowd, sorry to say but you'll be disappointed by what the college has to offer. But all's not negative here. If you choose to be an optimist and look at the slightest speck of positivity here, you'll see how the college transforms you into a different person who is ready to face challenges in the outside world. You'll surely see yourself change as you pass your time here, and believe me, the change is good!
This institute has great infrastructure, nice buildings. For sports, there is a football ground and basketball court etc. There is a massive library and world class research laboratory having best of the equipments. Hostels are very fine. The food and other eatables served here is very nice and hygienic.
The state of academics here is very impressive. The professors are very passionate and dedicated towards teaching. They are highly knowledgeable and eager to help the students. The curriculum is up to date comprising all the recent developments in the industry.
The state of placements in this college is quite at par with my expectations. Almost 95 percent students get placed. The average salary package offered was nearly 8 lakhs per annum. And the placement cell is very supportive and helpful.
The charges here are not that high. People can easily afford this. Concession is also given on the basis of caste and financial condition.
You are without any doubt, going enjoy your four years at this college. You will get chance to be engaged in a lot of activities on the campus.
This NIT has decent infrastructure consisting of all required amenities. A great campus with great state of art infrastructure. Library is very big. Laboratory ihas all the equipments, encouraging and facilitating students to take research. Hostel food is very tasty and hygienic
I am doing my graduation in mechanical engineering from this college. The quality of teaching is appreciable . Teachers are highly educated and experienced. They motivate students to take research and entrepreneurship. The curriculum is incorporated with the requirement of the industry.
Placements at this college are quite impressive Students get packages comparable to the best of the NITs. The average placements offered is around 9 lakhs per annum. Highest package offered was nearly 20 lakhs per annum.
The fee charged by the college is not very high. Students with weak financial condition can also afford. Relaxation is given to reserved classes
Campus Life is very good. Large cultural festival and many other sports events are organised here frequently. The campus is located at very nice place.
Infrastructure is bit old. Even the new teaching block is not upto mark. There is huge new building for cae department but currently it is in dispute because of corruption. First year students get new hostels which are triple tier .
At first year we have common syllabus which sucks because we can use this time ao positively to learn new different languages and basic of ds and algo. Even this common syllabus is not updated and teaching quality is not what you expect. Curriculum is more inclined towards mugging up.
Well I dont know much about non-cse placements but cse placements are awesome. Last two years we have had 100% placements in cse branch. Last year at summer placements almost every student had 2-3 jobs to choose from and many people land in good internship programs. Believe me we have one of the best training and placement cell in nits.
MANIT IS FAMOUS COLLEGE IN CENTRAL INDIA. IT HAVE A LARGE INFRASTRUCTURE.ALL FACULTIES ARE WELL EXPERIENCED.LATEST AND VERY COSTLY EQUIPMENT ARE PRESENT IN IT.ALL FACELITIES ARE USABLE AND WELL MAINTAINED.CLEANING IN WHOLE CAMPUS IS GOOD.MANIT'S GREENERY ATTRACTS EVERYONE.
I am studying mechanical engineering there.Ifound really quality of education. It's curriculum is updated. You can enjoy your interest . Definitely you can take easily job.campus placement is really very good.
Placement are really good. Around 85 percentage of students were placed. One crore is highest salery package.course is computer science. Avarage salary is 7 lakhs approx.placement process is easy.collage is fully supportive.
Course's cost per annum is around 50000. Yes, because it deos not give only course knowledge .you can find a different varieties of field and technology.
One of best college campus of India. Students engage in social society, technology clubs, cultural clubs, debating society and sports.all students and teachers are supportive.its location is near mata mandir ,bhopal.it is fully safe.it is best. it handled bhopal gas tragedy.
when it comes to college infrastructure it is moderately good. Many of the institutes building has become old . But again the campus is on its way to become art of infrastructure because many construction works is still going on.
In terms of academics the college has good reputition amoung the leading national college. All the teachers are highly qualifed with good knowledge of the subject. If you are regular you are really achieve good in academics at MANIT.
PLacmenents at MANIT goes fairly well . 80-85% placements are recorded every year . Some reputed and Multi National companies comes for campus placement drive here .If your cg is above 8.5 with some good prtical work in your field you can easily grab good placements
Yes I can say that the college is the best value for your money. The college fee is not so high and you get enough here in every aspects that outshows the money you invest here.Being a National College i can definetly say its good value for your money.
Campus life here is good but i can't say that they are excellent .The annual fests held here are average and good , it is more to go in this field. But you really have a great 4 years of your life here with your friends and can expereince a good campus life along with enjoyments of ur hostel life.
overall being a National college it is good to get admission here . this college comes amoung top nits . With some good academics and placements and the campus life you experience here it becomes an overall great college for ur wishlist
Collage infrastructure is good and have all the necessary facilities and equipments laboratory are quite good and have all the necessary facilities and equipments infact facilities are best from any other collage in Madhya Pradesh
I am a student of bechlor of engineering civil engineering branch and quality of teaching is good and teachers are also quite educated and helping as well they teach every student in a very good manner
Placement offers in Maulana Azad national institute of technology are best in the state because it is national institute of technology. Almost all major compines comes for placements and almost all the students placed
Fess is quite higher side
College is not at par with private college when it comes to infrastructure . But labs are equipped with all facilities and food and hygiene is all upto the mark . Infrastructure is slowly coming up under our new director and is expected to improve in the upcoming years .
College curriculum is almost same as in all other prominent NITs of India . College curriculum has been updated lately . We have a good number of open and branch electives that can really help to select a desired course .
Placement stats have improved considerably . CSE and ECE get 99-100% placements . Core also has good placements here . If not for placements , Bhopal has one of the best coachings in entire India for GATE and CAT .
All the fee is totally worth it as college is developing new infrastructure day by day and there are a lot of changes taking place
This is the only NIT which allows you to keep Bikes and Cars inside hostels thus increasing enjoyment of hostel life to a large extent . College location is inside heart of city and has proximity to Upper lake and other such tourist zones . There are many socities with lots of great events for a great college life .
My experience has been very great and I am pretty sure anyone coming to MANIT has same .
there are smartboards in classrooms and the campus was so clean and there are sports club and ground also here in the campus but there are no wifi facilities are available but libraries and laboratories are here and hostel facility has also.
The studies are well and good and the quality of teaching is also best but i think the curriculum is not updated time to time and does not includes all the recent developments in the field of course and the studies are make my job ready.
The placement was good in my college and the highest package was 10 lacks PA and the average package was 1 lacks PA. And the placement opportunities are given by college but not much good because the field of work is different.
HOSTEL food is good in many ways and NTB for classes is awesome. Departments have been upgraded into new building and infrastructure is modified. Campus size is huge with all facilities of sports and academics!
Good quality of teaching and nurturing ideas! Many clubs like robaroo,Ae se aenak, aaroha, pixel, vision, iste which helps juniors to develop many skills except studies and also professors are helpful to us!
Quality of placement is been better then many NITs and lower IITs! Cse as known for highest placement in recent datas is very good and other branches has decent placement scenerio! Instead many top rankers opt!
Course is as per NITs
If being a hosteller life i great!
I've enjoyed too much in college
Choosing between NIT Jaipur (ECE) and NIT Bhopal (CSE) depends on your interest and long-term goals, but here’s a balanced view:
If you’re interested in coding, software development, or IT roles , NIT Bhopal CSE is generally better, with higher placements and more career opportunities in the tech sector. On the other hand, NIT Jaipur is a reputed institute, and ECE offers flexibility—you can explore both core electronics and IT fields. However, in terms of placement stats, salary packages, and global demand , CSE at NIT Bhopal usually has an edge. Ultimately, choose the branch that aligns better with your interest, as long-term
Hey there! As JoSAA treats the Defense Services ( DS) quota as a supernumerary category (extra seats) in IITs only, hence, NITs including NIT Bhopal don't have separate defense quota seats. They only follow standard reservation like OC, GEN, OBC, SC. The DS quota matters only if you also apply to IITs and that's automatically checked if you submit the DS certificate. There's no seperate defense quota button in JoSAA you just select your main category and upload proofs, including the DS form.
If you any further queries feel free to ask!
