NIT Calicut Reviews on Infrastructure, Campus, Placement, Facilities & Faculty

Our college is good enough for all the facilities required by students and rich in infrastructure and all are well maintained. We are provided with WiFi in Hostels and in college. We have library with all books available and a pleasant environment to study. Our Hostels and classrooms are clean and tidy but the way we walk for college is fully covered with crow shit, that's the only thing bad in NITC.

For me as a CSE student our faculty have rich knowledge about subject. Studying well or not depends on students and the doubts regarding subjects can be clarified by the respective faculty during particular session. And yes, we will be perfectly ready for any CSE related jobs. The curriculum gets updated with time.

Placements will be 100% for CSE students. But for a person to sit in placements should have minimum of 7 cgpa, 6.5 rarely, so that he gets placed. The maximum salary offered this year is 40,00,000. The process goes pleasant and easy if we are confident enough to face it. Our college is very supportive for placements.

Money paid by the students depends on their category for academic purpose. 40,000 will be paid every Student who stays in Hostels (mess and room). The facilities here worth the money we pay.

Campus is good in every factor includes sports, clubs. Students interested can participate in any fields. And every year technical and cultural fests are conducted which are popular through out India,they include many events in which we can participate. Staff are very supportive. It's a very pleasant to leave here surrounded by trees and greenery.

College infrastructure is good.The facilities are good .Our college classroom is having projectors and mikes which lecturers use.The classrooms are well maintained.Labs are having wifi ,students can use wifi during lab sessions. They can go to labs whenever they want to study also.For cse there will be two seperate labs ,Whenever the labs are free one can go and study

The study in here is good. Students teach really well. But the only problem is they won't see whether they understood or not. They go on with the syllabus and pattern. They teach at one level in class and ask typical questions during examinations.The curriculum is updated.Whoever is top surely gets job.Average people we can't say.

The placements in here are really good. The highest packages is 40 Lakhs per annum. The students with CGPA 6.5 and above will be surely placed. The college is supportive. Placement process will have an exam ,shortlisted will have the interview rounds.

The person who adopts with the topics will be good .The average person stucks there and strives. So,the value for money depends on the person how he reads.

The campus live is really good. There will be so many students from other states who come here. Everyone will be friendly. The location is really good. In emergency situations it will be good enough one to reach any necessity.

Hostels are looking too old. And Classes are fine.One of the bad part is Laptops are not allowed into the Library. Study Room is also too small when compared to the people who likes to study there. Also no seperate cricket ground available

As far as our department's curriculum is considered its not updated past ten years. So the topics we learn are far away from today's practical world. More over for our department there not even a single classroom which can fit around 100 people together which makes difficult for taking combined classes.

Placements for our department are going good.But the Core companies visits are still not sufficient enough when compared to the batch strength. Also the packages average is fine but the ones who gets below average level are considerably not less.

Yes, Our college have perfect infrastructure and we will be having every facility and equipment which we require. Every classes have enough seating and others requirements and also library will be perfect place to study with all books, surroundings neat and silence. And Our campus looks hygienic and tide.

I am pursuing btech. Third year in Computer science and engineering course. Teaching by permanent faculty will be outstanding but by adhoc it will be something difficult. And every thing they teach will according to the present technology and the curriculum changes with time. If we study perfectly what they teach we would be perfect for any job.

Placements are at it's peak in NITC. Every Student gets placed from our college. There will be 100% placements for CSE without any percentage cutoff and for remaining courses there would be cutoff. This year till now the highest package is 40,00,000 and it owned by CSE student. Average salary will be 8,00,000. Yes the process is easy going if we perform well and our college stands as support for every Student.

Classrooms are having projectors. There is a library with good collection of books and digital library also. There are study rooms and lab for studying also. Wi-fi facility is available in hostels and labs. There are separate labs for Computer science students for course lab purpose and can use for study purpose when the lab is free. Coming to the food,it is difficult for students from other states to adjust. Food tastes average. But five days per week non-veg is available.Sports also available

I'm studying Computer Science and Engineering. The best department with the best faculty . The faculty who come to teach are well educated and teaches well. The labs are there for practicing. Any doubts will be clarified by the faculty if we ask. If anyone want to ask privately they can and solve their problems. Each faculty will be given some students for advising,anytime student can meet and talk to them regarding any problem.The curriculum is updated .

Students with cgpa 6.5 and above are allowed for placements in CSE. The highest package this year is 40 Lakhs per annum till now. There are chances are placements in this semester also. College gives a lot of support. For internships also there will be interviews. Students can also do internships outside with the required signatures. Average salary is around 12 Lakhs per annum

Tuition fee depends on students category. Hostel fee Rs.40,000 or above per year. The fee we pay and study we learn depends on us.The more we study and seek help,the more we get. It depends on students interest.

The campus life is best. There are several.clubs in which students can join with their interest.The location is safe. The faculty is good. Coming to hostel security is good. Especially for girls it is really good. Whenever anyone going out on non-working days they should sig out in the register at gate and mention where they going with their details. Students can also participate in games , coach will be there. Students can participate in INTERNIT and sports day is also celebrated well.

It is good for students who wants to join CSE and pursue well. One can't go further by wasting time. Students who are interested in coding can opt this branch. You can make wonders. Thank You.
