College Infrastructure

Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology (SLIET) boasts a sprawling 451-acre green campus with well-maintained academic blocks, smart classrooms, and fully equipped departmental labs. The infrastructure here is above average. The buildings are modern, and the classrooms are equipped with the latest technology. The library is well-stocked, but the sports facilities are somewhat lacking. Overall, a good environment for academics.

Hello sir sliet me letral entry ka kya process hai Kaun sa exam dena hoga .kya leet se bhi hota hai.

For lateral entry in SLIET, admission can be taken after completing a diploma course. For lateral entry, no exam is required . However, as per the admission policy, admission is given through vertical promotion.

Eligibility criteria for admission through lateral entry:

After 10th class one has to do diploma course.
The diploma course should be in engineering specialization.
After completing the diploma course, admission can be taken in B.Tech through lateral entry.
Students taking admission through lateral entry get the opportunity to study directly in the second year of engineering.

Eligibility Criteria, You must have a Diploma in Engineering from an AICTE-approved institution.

A minimum percentage of 50%-55% is required in the diploma. For reserved categories (SC/ST), there is a relaxation in the percentage.
