Yes, teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very nice. Yes, this course is curriculum-relevant. Not many difficult semester exams are there. You can score a 7–7.5 average CGPA just by studying one day before the exam. There is no passing percentage criteria; it is just relatively marked.

Last year due to recession only 45% students were placed. The highest package was around 50 LPA and the lowest was 8 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Bajaj, Tata Steel, etc. Internship scenario is not good. Top role offered is HR. Internship scene is not good here but everything is fine.

Overall the college is so good and the environment, academics , infrastructure, clubs, and the professor's teaching are also good. First year Hostel is not so good but the food in the mesh is so good and I like it.

The placement of this college is good , it was approximately 75 to 90 percent in the previous year. The placement of electrical engineering was approximately 81 percent in the previous year. Internship also starts from pre-final year, about 70 to 80% through different companies.

The best placements for mining related courses is from IIT ISM Dhanbad. The quality of placements is very good. Almost 80 to 85 students got placed in the last year. The average placements was of Rs 17 lakhs per annum.

The college infrastructure is overall good. There are separate building for each department. The only drawback is the colour of the infrastructure which gives an old vibe. There i s also a separate building for NVCTI.

Mostly noone pays attention in class and you have to self study or from youtube to clear your midsems and endsems. Mostly youtube lectures will be your saviours. Although you sgould try to pay attention in class so that you don't have a burden while exams.

Placement scenario is good and domestic packages are quite well though there are almost no international packages.Placemt is good for circuital branches. Also surprisngly Petroleum branch has quite a good placement scenario

In terms of infrastructure IIT Dhanbad have all the necessary facilities and equipment in our institution.we have library, laboratory and sport centre. Projector classrooms, laboratories with all equipment etc. All the campus, classroom are well maintained neat and clean. Hygiene and clean canteen and hostels.

Academic study is very good in IIT Dhanbad. All the professors attend classes regularly and classes for all the subjects are held regularly on daily basis. All the faculty members of the college are very supportive and encouraging .They always guide the students in career development .

Since it's an IIT its fees is somewhat less from other private colleges. The course is affordable and I think I'm getting all the necessary knowledge .It is worth in all aspects of academics and non academics provided by the college.

The campus is of around 750 acres and full of lush green campus, the beauty and calmness of the campus makes you forget about your academic pressure. I am bachelor of technology in mining machinery engineering. Course is good and quality of teaching is also good .i think curriculum is not so updated because most of the subjects are very old . Core jobs is ok type but to get good jobs you will have to study coding simultaneously
