JEE Main 2025 Session 2 exam was conducted from April 2 to 9, 2025.
Our college has temporary campus thus not well equipped due to small space. There is two hostel for boys one is at kundli (15 km from college) and second one is near college for 3rd and 4 th year students. There is two hostel for girls inside campus as there is less number of girl representation. All the classroom and labs are equipped with projectors,ACs and high speed WiFi. The campus is clean as well as well maintained. CSE department has well equipped computer labs.
I am currently in CSE department which has some good faculties having great expertise in their respective fields. Our course curriculum is not updated as we didn't have exposure to some latest developments in technology. But we work on various projects so that we can get practical insights and become job ready.
Average package for our department goes to around 8 LPA with 100% placement statistics. Average package for whole college stands around 6 LPA with 90% placement. Highest package for our college is 39 LPA per annum while lowest is around 3.4 LPA . We have recruiters like Amazon, daily hunt , Infosys, cognizant etc
My college fees is around 80k per annum including hostels. Also I pay around 3k per month for mess with average food quality. With such low fees ,no college can offer such facilities, especially an NIT tag thus every penny of my money worths.
Hostel far away from campus during 1st and 2nd year of college and small campus is worst part of campus life. Students here engage in various clubs including cultural technical and sports club. We also have cultural technical and sports fest every year with support of these clubs and cooperation of various students. In these fest every student work hard so to make it success and enjoy in it. It is located in far from New Delhi in Narela near market and big government hospital.
Small space thus we didn't have required number of workshops and labs. We instead of BTech, doing BE here. We have two hostel for boys ,one in near campus for 3rd year and 4th year, another one is at kundli,15 km from campus for 1st &2 nd year students. The classroom and labs are well with ACs projectors and WIFI. Whole campus is very clean and well maintained. New campus will be soon built which is on NH1 Of 51 acres.
Inspite of lack of workshops, teaching here is very good due to PhD qualified faculties here. They have good knowledge in their respective subjects and make students eager to learn. Though course curriculum needs some updation to meet current industrial demands,we work on various projects to get practical insights and become job ready.
Placement is a bit disappointment for our department due to low number of companies from core branch and also students of our department hardly get shortlisted for coding companies inspite of good knowledge. Average salary for our department stands around 5 LPA and for the college it is around 6 LPA. Highest package till now is 39 LPA by student of EEE previous year from Microsoft. College should work hard to get more companies from core sector.
My tuition fees is about 40 k per annum due to income criteria, including hostels. I have to pay 3k per month for mess whose food quality is only sometimes good. But inspite of all these, no college can offer such facilities with such low fees. Thus my money getting worth.
Lack of space and hostels far away from college is worst part of campus life. We have volleyball badminton Kabaddi and basketball arrangements. For cricket and football spaces is a issue . We have cultural technical and sports fest every year along with various events in which we learn coordination skills which makes campus life great. Faculties and staffs are very supportive in various issues. It is in Narela near Harishchandra hospital
Our college has small campus thus small space results in only 2 labs for our department with inadequate instruments, thus we went to DTU for some workshops. In sport activities, there is adequate space for volleyball badminton Kabaddi and basketball but cricket and football faces issues. Whole campus is very clean and well maintained. The classroom and labs were equipped with high speed wifi AC and projectors. We have 2 hostel for boys and 2 for girls .
Faculties are well qualified and have good command over their respective subjects. They are always eager to help us in studies as well as in our projects. Our course curriculum is bit outdated but we we work hard on our projects to get practical insights and become job ready.
The small campus results in low college ranking thus very less companies from core sector approaches. Companies from other profiles approaches with less packages. We have recruiters like L&T, TATA Power etc offering average package of 6 LPA and highest package grabbed is 39 LPA previous year by student of our department from Microsoft. College should work on bringing more companies from core sector.
My tuition fees is 80 k per annum and 20 k per annum for hostel. Also I pay around 3k per month for mess with average food quality. With such less fees none of the college can offer such facilities and an NIT tag thus my money worths for it.
Our college has 2 boys hostel. One hostel is located about 15 km from campus with no shops and markets in near by thus is the worst part. We have 2 fest every year, cultural fest sports fest and some times technical fest in which we work in coordination to make them success. Faculties are also very supportive in various issues along with staffs of the college. The college is located near Narela market having all kind of daily essentials. In nearby ther is a hospital to assure health issues.
Campus is small as it is temporary bit we'll maintained neat and clean. All the classroom are equipped with ACs and projectors. Labs are also equipped ACs but lacks of various useful instruments. Whole campus is connected with high speed WiFi. We have various sports activities like volleyball badminton basketball etc.
I am currently in EEE department which have good faculties. All the faculties here are PhD qualified and have good knowledge in their subjects. They are very helpful in academic and projects . Our course curriculum is some what updated but not outdated as it has various subjects like machine learning and give insights of various sphere by having economics and management in it.
Placement for our department is average as we have very less companies from core sector like L&T ,TATA Power etc . Average package of our college this year is around 6LPA and highest package till now is 39 LPA grabbed by student of our branch previous year from Microsoft. College has to work on bringing companies from core sector as it is institute of national importance.
My fees is around 40k per annum including hostels and about 3k I pay for mess per month with average food quality . Such less fees for such good facilities and good college experience makes every penny of my money worth.
It's worst feature is small space which has issue during sports events and fests. Best part is the coordination among students to make every event and fest successful. The faculties and staffs are really helpful in academic and non academic issues. It is near Narela market and Harishchandra hospital which makes its location strategic in terms to handle emergencies and availability of daily stuffs.
Campus is small as we are sharing the campus with other MHRD College of economics studies. New campus will be soon completed. Though we have less space , it has volleyball badminton Kabaddi and basketball accommodation. All the classroom and labs are well equipped with ACs and projectors. Whole campus and hostel is equipped with high speed wifi. The campus is neat and clean as well as well maintained.
I am currently in ECE department which a various well educated and friendly faculties. All the faculties are PhD qualified thus holds good command of their subject. They helps us in various projects so that we get knowledge in depth. Our course curriculum is little bit updated as it accomodate MACHINE LEARNING and Neural network. But it needs more updation so that it can match current industrial norms.
This year about 44 students out of 52 of our department got placed in various companies like delloite, Amazon, Infosys etc. Average package for the college is 6 LPA this year . Highest package untill now is 39 LPA given by Microsoft previous year.
I pay around 1.6 lacs per annum including hostels and 3k per month for mess. With such less fees none of the college can offer such facilities along with an NIT tag thus in my view every penny of money worths.
Inspite of small campus which creates hurdles during fest events and workshops, we work hard to manage the space constraints thus we have saptrand as our cultural fest and one sports fest every year along with various events of fresher and fairwell. Faculties are very friendly and supportive. Staffs of college are also supportive in day to day conduct. It is in Narela near a market and a hospital thus we can handle emergency well .
The campus of this college is very small. The lecture halls can accommodate 50 people at once on a ease. The auditorium here is not that much big. The labs are not able to accommodate more than 30 people at once. And yeah the library here is very small . Only 10 students can study at once. It has a Computer centre with WiFi facility and it is managed by layer three Switches that provide 600 Mbit/s (1:1) bandwidth Speed. The college has all sorts of sports facilities provided for its students.
Here I'm studying electrical and electronics engineering as I got this branch only as per my rank in the JEE mains. The facilities here are very talented and best at their fields. So quality of teaching is very good here. The curriculum is updated and yes it includes all the recent methods or you can say all the recent technologies or techniques which helps the students to get a good job.
First of all I would like to say that this college has a training and placement cell (TnP Cell). So there is no big problem in the placement process as the students are the one who makes this cell so the process is obviously very simple. Around 85 % students get campus placement according to some of past years. The highest package is 40 lacs which was grabbed by a student of EEE branch only. The average salary for a EEE guy is 6 lacs
My fee for a year is 85033/- . But I think this amount is very high as compared to the given facilities. As they charge 3000/- per month for the mess but they don't give back if there are Holiday for like Holi, Diwali as these holidays are long ones so students go to their home hence mess remains off but even students have to pay
NIT Delhi has various student-driven of clubs or student organizations such as Cultural club, Technical club, Literature club, Altius – Sports club, Clairvoyance – Photography club, Arts club, Social Reformation Cell (SRC) and many others. Two of the major annual events hosted by NITD are Sentience and Zeal.
I opted this college because of it's location. I took this college because I thought that it must be in delhi so it will be good to be in the capital and as this city is a hub for studying for UPSC and all other competitive exams so it would be a good place. I had a great excitement before coming to the college for the first time. As I reached the college it seemed that the campus had been ended before its starting.
Our college has sports ground for volley ball, badminton, basketball, kabaddi etc but ground for cricket and football becomes short due to small campus space. Also we have small thus books available in less quantity. Classrooms and labs have ACs and projector with high speed WiFi. All the campus is very neat and clean and well maintained. We have 2 hostels for boys one is in kundli which is 12 km away from campus and another one is near campus. Also one hostel for girls inside campus.
I am currently in EEE branch which has various qualified faculties having PhD in their respective fields. They are also very friendly and always ready to help students in academic and projects. Our course curriculum is a bit outdated thus it needs some upgradation so that we can match the current industrial norms
Every year about 80% of students got placed in various companies like L&T, TATA Power, delloite, Amazon etc bagging average package of 6LPA and highest package of 39 LPA offered by Microsoft. Placement for our branch is a bit disappointment due to less number of core companies visiting for placement drives. Also students of our department with good coding skills were not made eligible many a times for placement.
I pay around 40k per annum including academics and hostels. Also I have to pay 3k per month for mess with average food quality. With such low cost, none of the college can offer such kind of facilities thus every penny of my money worths for this.
Inspite of lack of space which always creates issues during fest and workshops. But we work hard so that it's issues reduces to minimum extent. We have two fests every year in which we learn coordinating skills and leadership roles. Also the faculties and staffs are very helpful in academics and day to day conduct. It is located near Narela market thus we have all kind of daily stuffs at easiest. Also it is located near Harishchandra hospital thus students didn't have to bother for health issues
Infrastructure of our college is really bad. The space is very little. We don’t have a permanent campus. Small grounds for sports are available. There are no separate departments. Wifi is not working Half of the time . We do not have enough books in the library. Teachers rarely use projectors.
Teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. They are qualified enough to teach us. The quality of teaching is good. They sometimes use the projector to teach some particular topics. But we do not get trained for companies or industrial training. Curriculum is not good enough. It's mostly theory.
Placement is really good especially for cse. The average salary package offered for CSE students was 8 LPA, and for the students of EEE, it was 5 LPA. For the students of ECE, the average salary offered was approximately 6.5 LPA.
The cost of b. Tech is Rs 150000 per year on an average for all departments. It is really expensive for general category students as they do not get any scholarships. The infrastructure is not upto mark.
Tech fests and other fests do take place. Alumni, seniors and teachers are helpful. Students engage in different extra curricular activities like sports, dance, drama.
As it is a nit it should be made better. Better technologies should be implemented.
The infrastructure of the college is quite good. A new auditorium is being built and will be in working condition soon. The new academic building is also quite good. New hostels being built. There is a medical unit. Classrooms have Wi-Fi and are very clean.
Faculty of the college are good as they are PhD holder in their area from top institutes along with foreign university degrees which make them remarkable in their field. Curriculum is upto date and contains many labs for making students ready industrial purposes.
avg package of 8 lac per annum while computer science have avg package of 10 lac per annum. Our college do provide research internship but no stipend. Most of the students go for industrial training and internships in various iits.
the fee structure depends upon the family income of student. Family income more than 5lakh has to pay a much big amount while those in range of 5 lakh to 1.5 lakh has to pay some percentage. Income less than 1.5 get free education. But the money is worth the education
sports facilities are good too and provide all the sports equipment. We have all necessary clubs for all extracurricular activities. Many tech fest take place.
Saptrang is cultural fest, terra technica is technical fest and zeal.is intrabranch sports fest. Along with thesr we have hostel night, halloween etc.
Yes college provide all the necessary but some things are not in the college and talking about infrastructure, facility and equipment all have but sometimes wifi don't works and less space for library and they are all well maintained also mess food is good and enough living space.
I m pursuing btech in electrical and electronics branch from national institute of technology delhi i have some preknowledge about electrical like motors, transformer so i did choose this branch i think curriculum is updated and some teachers have good experience and knowledge
I think placement cell doing well i think most of the student are placed and this year highest package is 19 lakh and last two year highest package was 30 lakh and average salary is 7-8 lakh yes college supports for placement and i think if u have some knowledge then u can easily get the job.
Regarding about course cost per yead so its depend on annual income if income is below 1 lakh then course fees is 12000 and income between 1 lakh to 5 lakh then course fees is something 33000 and income above 5 lakh then course fees is 7200 yes money worth
Hi aspirant,
If you have a Delhi CBSE reservation, you will be eligible for a seat under the home state quota, which accounts for approximately 50% of the available seats . After this, your admission will depend on the rank and percentile you achieve in the JEE Mains exam.
Popular branches, such as Computer Science Engineering (CSE), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Electronics Engineering, generally have higher cutoffs.
To secure a seat in these fields, you typically need a percentile above 98-99 or a rank between 10,000 and 15,000.
Hello Priyanshu,
MNIT Allahabad (MNNIT) is one of the oldest and most established NITs, with a strong reputation in engineering. The campus is large, with excellent extracurricular activities and facilities, making it a top choice for students seeking a well-rounded engineering education.
NIT Delhi , established in 2010, is newer but rapidly gaining recognition, especially in IT and Computer Science. The campus is smaller but modern, with a focus on research and innovation in tech fields. While it doesn't have the same history as MNIT, NIT Delhi has been improving its placement record and industry ties, particularly in the tech sector. It's a good option for students interested in cutting-edge research and emerging technologies.
In summary, MNIT Allahabad offers a more established and comprehensive engineering experience, while NIT Delhi offers a modern, research-focused environment with strong prospects in tech-related fields.

Hello,
To gain admission into NIT Delhi with an SC category reservation and a 12th-grade percentage of 72.8%, you will primarily need to focus on your JEE Main score and percentile, as NITs (National Institutes of Technology) primarily use JEE Main scores for admissions. Here’s a general overview of what you should consider:
JEE Main Percentile : NIT Delhi, being one of the more prestigious NITs, generally requires a high percentile in the JEE Main exam for admission. For SC category students, the cutoff percentile is usually lower compared to the General category, but it still needs to be reasonably high.
12th Grade Percentage : While your 12th-grade percentage is important for eligibility, the primary criterion for NIT admissions is the JEE Main score and percentile. Your percentage is sufficient for eligibility, but your JEE Main performance will be crucial.
Based on historical data and trends:
Aim for a High Percentile : Focus on achieving a high percentile in the JEE Main exam. Aiming for a percentile above 90 is a good target for the SC category to increase your chances of admission to NIT Delhi.
Check Previous Year Cutoffs : Review previous years' cutoffs for SC category students for NIT Delhi to understand the trend and set a realistic target for your percentile.
Prepare for JEE Advanced : If you qualify for JEE Advanced, aim for a strong performance there as well, as it will further influence your chances of getting into NITs.
Stay Updated : Keep an eye on official announcements from NIT Delhi and the JEE Main organizing body for the latest information on cutoffs and admission criteria.
To maximize your chances of admission to NIT Delhi with your current academic background, aim for a JEE Main percentile of around 90 or higher. This will make you competitive for admission under the SC category. If you achieve a percentile in this range, you should have a good chance of securing a seat in one of the branches at NIT Delhi.
Hope it helps !
