Classrooms are very neatly maintained, and Wi-Fi is available everywhere except some places, but in the library, there is very good Wi-Fi. Labs are also really good and well-maintained. Hostels have their individual sports facilities and Wi-Fi facility. There are so many grounds and sports complexes in this college; so much importance is given to sports.

Faculty here is really good; they all are well-educated from very good universities and completed their post-graduation. Professors help students personally. Course curriculum is not that relevant for first-year students, but from the second year, it is very much relevant. Semester exams are not that difficult, but they are tricky; proper knowledge should be there to answer them.

Placement is really good in our college, and many companies like Google, Amazon, Facebook come to campus placements to recruit students in my course, mechanical engineering. There are vast roles like nanotechnology, robotics, machine learning, design, etc. Nearly everybody will get an internship in this college. The highest package is around 2 crores; I have no idea about the lowest package.

Being one of the prestigious college in india, the infrastructure in our college is well maintained. It has well Wi-Fi connection, classrooms, and library, besides this mess is simply excellent, sports arena are conducted every year.

The teachers are very helpful. They are well-trained . The curriculum is relevant and makes many students ready for the industry. The semesters are not too difficult, but the pass percentage of our college is about 90 percent.

Maximum students in our college are getting moderate placements and internships. The highest package is 40 LPA. And the lowest is about 4 LPA. Up to 40 percent of the students have got internships.placement percentage of students is upto 80%.

Our department infrastructure is well suited for it. Our classes are equipped with projectors and all the other things that are needed. Wi-Fi is always good in all classrooms.There is a central library with a huge number of books.Hostels are also good .

Our teachers are very knowledgeable, talented, and excellent in their fields. They expect more from students. If you do well and ask for help at any point during the course, they will appreciate it and assist you. The course curriculum is relevant. We are offered around 50% of elective courses.

NIT Durgapur is good for infrastructure.All the facilities available in our college are great. Wi-Fi works well. Labs and classrooms are very good. Library is a good attraction. Sports and medical facilities are great.

All the infrastructure made after 2014 are pretty good while those built before need renovation. We have well equipped and maintained labs, newly made hostels and academic buildings and an auditorium having a capacity of over 1000.

Academic life depends on the branch of study. Some branches like ECE and BT and MME are pretty chill while EE, ME, CE are tough to deal with. Moreover it also depends on the professor who is undertaking the course. Course curriculum is well updated, absolute grading prevails and scoring grades is easy provided one studies methodically.

This college has an overall placement percentage of more than 85% every year out of the total batch strength and all sorts of companies with profiles like software development, analytics, consultancy, business development, core engineering, PSUs visit the campus for recruitment. Annual package offered ranges from 6-71 LPA .

Although ROI is good but fees are pretty more compared to other colleges.

Good club events, annual fests, sports fests are held time and again so that the students are not bored.

Although it's an NIT, it is no less than any IIT!

NIT college is good.it's small but very clean. The washrooms are hygeinic. The facilities provided in the girls hostel are also good. ACs and collers are available. They provide washing machines,stove,fridge and many other basic amenities.

Teachers are perfect in their subjects and are there to help the students and guide them. Mentors are also very helpful.The curriculum is decided by the university that is NIT . In first year all students of different branches have common subjects.

NIT College average as compared to the strength. Hiring is very less. It's not very much impressive but yes some good companies come and bulk hiring is also done. Placement community is active as well. But I am suggesting boost our skills related domin .

College infrastructure is well-equipped . And all necessary infrastructure and facilities are available in the departments and library . There is wifi in the hostels and ethernet connection in the labs .

I am a b-tech CSE student at NIT Durgapur .Yes, the quality of teaching is very good. Teachers use to teach using ppts and they update it daily for the students. The overall academic results of the college is also good.

Maximum of the students get a job before completion of his/her ug course here. Almost 83% was the placement percentage last year. In some departments the rate is nearly 90%. Also the packages are high enough . In 2022-23 highest package was 70 LPA. Average package is almost 11 LPA.

Yes, students have to pay very less for their ug courses. I had to pay nearly 80,000 INR for the first year two semester. The facilities that we get actually worth the money. Because you will get all facilities from WiFi to AC, Water Heater to Guest House facility.

Campus life is also ok. But in the first year there will be many restriction. The campus is actually well planned. Many playgrounds are there throughout the whole campus. Eastern India's second largest fest RECstacy is also held every year.
